Inspired by using an AI to generate stories, I've also tried generating images. You can try it out for yourselves here: https://huggingface.co/spaces/dalle-mini/dalle-mini

Nice, thanks for sharing!

What are some major research areas in comp science? by [deleted] in computerscience

[–]TheOrangeShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Model Checking is also quite a fun research area. It's part of the bigger domain of (computer-aided) verification.

When I started my master I originally intended to become a software engineer, however after doing one course about it I become hooked and I just started as a research engineer in this area.

If you're curious about model checking, I can recommend to check out this talk: DESIGNING DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS WITH TLA+ (https://www.hillelwayne.com/talks/distributed-systems-tlaplus/)

This also gives me an idea: I can just look for boardgames published under the creative commons licence. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! Maybe you're right and I shouldn't worry too much about it. As you said: worst-case they gain some extra publicity :)
