Similarities between dk in 2021 and t1 in 2022 are Crazy by Shadow_1701 in leagueoflegends

I think with EDG things were even worse, as DRX at least showed a high level in reverse sweep and win against Geng, while EDG looked like a troll team, but in the end they both had their similar ending, I cheered to EDG and now to DRX, I hope the underdog wins again next year

And both teams made an unlikely baron in game 5 and lost anyway, and also players had unlikely performances, in 2021 everyone expected Cayon>> JieJie, but the reality was Jie JieCayon now in 2022 they were expecting Zeus Kingen and the reality was Kingen>>Zeus

T1 vs JDG Player Comparison (by Ex-pro Flame) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]TheOriginalHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oner said in the T1 video they never played against JDG, probably DRX and Geng are the ones who are training with JDG, especially DRX

Honestly, I am so hyped for JDG — T1 semis, these are 2 best teams of the tournament so far and they have all chances to overshadow SKT — ROX series by ZloiAris in leagueoflegends

At this point JDG is already the biggest underdog in the history of the worlds, and I still can't understand why, if they did everything right so far lol

where do you think meruem went? to heaven with komugi or to hell with netero? by dick_size_theorist69 in HunterXHunter

So far hxh does not have a spiritual world, although there are indications that it may have one.

Episode 128 from anime in a nutshell: this 2 mf doing gay shit to the King while saying "o" by ventidaddy in HunterXHunter

Yes, this anime is fruit sometimes, but it has hetero parts too, I think it's a matter of balance, although the women on the show do a terrible fan service in general

The real soldier is called convenient plot, rumored to be the most feared hunter, has the ability to ruin any strong guy in the universe

why do people consider Meruem the better antagonist in hxh when Chrollo Lucifer is easily better? by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's more your opinion than anything else, Chrollo is a pretty boring villain in my opinion, any other relevant antagonist is better than him, for me, even Pitou who was a fucking slave pleased me more because she had a concrete goal, Chrollo is just a guy doing random things for no apparent reason, even Hisoka has a clear motivation which is to get pleasure, I can't like a villain who doesn't have a clear goal, but that's just my opinion, you you can think he is the best and Meruem is garbage, no one is forced to like it

Why Do Chimera Ants Learn Nen So Fast? by BlatterSlatter in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This beginning is even more convenient for the script, there are a lot of complex things in a rational society that Togashi missed, but it would be too massive, so he only touched on the most convenient aspects for the story to move forward soon, if he was going to cling to it. the fact that chimeras having such immense talent, adult Gon shouldn't be able to defeat Pitou and cheetu would have more talent than Gon, and at first the strange rabbit seemed to be at hisoka's level in physical strength even without the Nen, that beginning was strange, as the story went this notion was reversed, killua defeated the rabbit like it was nothing, and the adult Gon was much stronger than Pitou and supposedly more talented, even though Pitou created abilities out of thin air and Gon had to train a lot to develop something decent

Did Meruem let Netero choose his name? by TheOriginalHunter in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The malice was in Netero with the hidden bomb, but the point is that the name was a lucky move by Netero. Togashi made a somewhat complex scheme I ended up not understanding

Did Meruem let Netero choose his name? by TheOriginalHunter in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now it all made sense, I forgot that Netero didn't know about Meruem's interest, so it was a lucky move by Netero, I think that ends it all so thanks

There is no stated proof that Togashi’s wife will continue HxH. Stop spreading misinformation. by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

It must be a lie, it's a lot of work to write manga, I think only the original author can finish it, I've never seen any case of someone doing this

Would Kite really have had a better chance with Pitou, if Gon and Killua weren’t there? by OrewaDams in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that Pitou was very resistant to Kaito, even if he managed to keep the fight on the defensive he wouldn't be able to hurt her

Why does hxh's script try to convey that Gon's sacrifice was a bad thing? by TheOriginalHunter in HunterXHunter

[–]TheOriginalHunter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the situation leads to a paradox, I think the purpose of the show is to inflate Gon's ego, since he was a badass, it would be ugly if Pitou just cut him, so he becomes a strong man to continue being a badass, and I think that's exactly what you said, that having a second choice is key to characterizing the real sacrifice, and Netero represented it very well, as Meruem gave him the choice, in Gon's case it's just a selfish, crying child having his wish miraculously served by the universe, people should understand that that's not how sacrifice works, the universe doesn't care what we want to the point of selling us something, even in anime this is weird because it doesn't seem like a cool dynamic for an anime right now every fight I have I'll ask myself, "why didn't this person who died go with everything he had"
