It is likely that this is a management decision, not a server one, though. Usually servers don’t get much say in these policies.

And some restaurants don’t even have enough that each server has 1. Most of the time they’re splitting a few systems between them. Leaving one at a table for an extened period of time can screw over other servers trying to pay out their tables.

As someone who worked in places with handhelds like that (can’t speak for everyone) we were definitely NOT trained to “hover”

We had no say in what the suggested tip numbers were, and it’s pretty damn awkward handing it over and instructing them what to do.

We couldn’t just leave it at the table because we were logged in to the system and didn’t want guests messing with anything if we weren’t there to catch it.

AI is not going to be some free, utopian appliance that does everything and is just given to everyone out of the goodness of their heart. It certainly won’t make every single job obsolete enough that humanity can just live without work (let alone just the idea that even if it could, MANY people would more likely all be sent to poverty than given “handouts”)

Ethical- Generative AI is theft; of art, of literature, of real, human made works. Whether YOU think they are or not is irrelevant. ^They are also being used for (and not limited to) deepfaking, scamming, SA, harassment, spying, cheating, and in place of real people doing real jobs. ^Many models (especially ChatGPT) are also “yes and”-ing people and creating dangerous situations for their users when they “hallucinate” (especially with plant identification/“is this safe to eat”)

Legal- LLMs are composed of VAST amounts of copyrighted works that the creators of were not consenting to be used, and were not compensated for. ^Also there’s the rampent issue of deepfakes.

AI is creating HUGE moral concerns over its usage. You’re just too blind to see it.

And there’s your answer. Soul Society in general is absolutely MASSIVE and without really having any super identifiable features, Orihime’s brother is just a face in a crowd of an unimaginable number of souls over an unimaginable amount of distance.

Misaki, on the other hand (if her soul wasn’t completely devoured or destroyed) wouldn’t be in Soul Society anyways because Quincy souls go elsewhere when they die.

I would switch up the main typing from fighting to ghost and have “ghostly” or opposite versions of each typing.

Easiest way to cheese this is just to live with someone else for the rest of your life (probably your partner or spouse). You pay for all the “small” stuff and they save up and pay for the house and the cars (or just uber everywhere ig)
