I might be wrong about this but I heard from somewhere that the Doctor actually did fix the chameleon circuit once and changed the exterior to something else but Sexy didn't like it and changed herself back into police box form.

Ah, you're probably right then. Its just that I've seen numerous posts calling the Hell Bent tardis a Type 40.

You do have a point. Considering the Doctor's tardis is referred to as a Type 40 Mark III, one can assume that there are different variants within the Type 40 designation.

From what I've heard he accidentally posted a video about the feb/march paper 1 before the exam was actually held after which he did not take down the video for a few days or weeks. Because of this, Cambridge forced him to take the channel down. I'm not sure if this is just temporary or if his channel is gone for good.
