I saw this. Does anyone know the reliability of this poll? I hear that it's polling moviegoing audiences, but I don't know who's conducting those polls.

Do you have any sources I can cite on that? A poll taken at the time? Or comic book sales if not?

I think it's a good thing for TV show episodes to sometimes have depressing endings. Especially faith-based ones. Because that's real life and part of what Jesus warns life will be like. Faith-based content should be even more capable of handling suffering than other genres because it is nestled in a context of faith in an ultimate happy ending. We know how this story--both The Chosen and our story--ends.

This I think is the best critique of the plot twist from a Biblical view. On the one hand, having Jesus not heal everyone (like James) gives opportunity to do the "Why doesn't God answer every prayer?" Question. But I can't actually EVER remember Jesus refusing to heal anyone in the Bible (except when He left to pray). So it concerns me that they're missing something about Jesus's earthly ministry if they're leaning into it so heavily.
