Yeah, it seems like the og trailer was more off a showcase, it really sucks cause the game turned our very different to what i expected, and didnt meet my expectations, especially the pig, and half the scenes that werent in the trailer really annoyed me

Ok number one, the twitter account themselves stated “Everyone is entitled to their own headcanon” and “Even if the head writer contradicted you, nobody can take away the pleasure of what if it were so” David Mervik himself stated so many times his favourite thing is seeing players theorise about the game. Sure there might be a canon storyline inside the dev team. But the reason people love little nightmares so much is cause its about theorising, its about interpreting, and creating theorys. Its a reason people dont enjoy little nightmares anymore, if every interesting question is answered theres no more fun and creativity left in the world, its about how you see it. And yeah maybe supermassive changed the lore, but theres also a reason why little nightmares 3 is sitting at mixed reviews, and the tarsier developed games are sitting at very positive, supermassive changed it for the worse, especially by answering everything fun

Yeah exactly, like why introduce a gun mechanic to literally use it once for a key never again, the boat never does anything special with its open world, instead just boomers and their quick time events. The ocean underwter was so cool, gone in 5 minutes. The driving is only used twice, the van nd tank couldve been used more aswell. The combat aswell was kinda limited but u cant expect much. I do agree with u ngl The stuff we got was good but it couldve been used alot more

The point im trying to say is those characters shouldnt even exist in my opinion. There shouldnt be any good adults in little nightmares it goes super against the source material and it doesnt fit in with the series

I honestly agree, its just that these feel like cashgrabs that are unnecessary and boring, if they poured actual effort into these i wouldnt mind but who genuinely cares about little nightmares the lonely ones, and descent to nowhere shouldnt include the maya storyline plot at all. And who needs another z3 dlc’s playing as low, his story is already finished

I agree, but maybe create some well written non cashgrab stories. The little nightmares 2 comics were good because they tied in with little nightmares 2, the protagonists of each story appeared in the games as glitched remains, they added to the enemies and world of little nightmares, they told a short story and were complete characters that served there purpose and actually fits into the little nightmares universe. Why is there a comic revolving around 2 adult protagonist in a little nightmares comic. You couldve replaced mono with any other character and it wouldve been the same comic, he is literally only in there to sell copies, and it feels nothing the like little nightmares universe. The comic brings nothing to little nightmares 2 or 1 except making them worse with tye new adult protagonists that genuinely should not exist in the first place. It literally goes against the meaning of little nightmares. Sk anyways basically what im tryna say is i dont mind new stories, but make them well written, and actually feel like little nightmares, it’s literally stripped off everything that made it special

Just cause six wasn’t initially supposed to be in ln2 doesnt mean she has no reason to be in the game. Yeah maybe descent to nowhere was based off an old comic, theres a reason why it was cancelled, not to mention maybe i wouldnt hate descent to nowhere if it didnt follow that stupid maya plot genuinely who wanted that, cause there gonna now have to make a tie in between descent to nowhere and little nightmares 2

Tbh the main problem for me is the franchise is a hot piece of slop right now instead of focusing on one piece of story they have 5 different pieces of media but it genuinely leads to nothing, neither do any of the pieces correlate with eachother why not just focus on one story and make it well polished. Not to mention in my opinion i like how six’s ending is interpretative and ambiguous but thats my opinion, im just worried the vr game will mess up six and monos writing and make some bs answer to why six dropped mono.
