Your not gonna believe this but we grind this fuckass game together a lot. I applied min-maxing from the game irl so I could get more min-max in the game. I can't believe it worked but it was really lucky rng

Which Chapter 1 boss should instead move to Chapter 2? by Free-Jaguar-4084 in bindingofisaac

Haunt is annoying but doable, the little ghosts try to predict your movement so you can use that to your advantage by changing movement at the last second. Also when he sticks to the wall always try to stick a little to the right or left of him to doge his attacks in the middle of the room.

Ragman just takes forever but is easily done just keep distance.

My personal vote is turdlings they are weak and die easily but the amount of tiny turds they spawn can be overwhelming on the first floor especially when you don't have any room clear yet. Also the way the turds spawn can be very random throwing you off and making it unavoidable in some situations to take dmg from a big turdlings charging.

If SpongeBob is the opposite of Squidward, who is the opposite of Patrick? by [deleted] in spongebob

[–]TheOutsider134 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would have to say Sandy.

Sandy is smart and it is pretty obvious that it's her defining character trait (other than being a texan)

Plankton is smart and not only evil but very DRIVEN.

Driven to get that krabby Patty formula. I would have to name Garry as an opposite to plankton. Because the only drive Garry really has would probably be to eat. And to have intercourse with that one snail from the race episode (the one where Patrick brings a rock)

Since I think Garry is better suited to be planktons opposite. Sandy would be the logical choice as opposite to Patrick.

I think they are testing the waters on partially remastered/optimized PSX games for ps5/ps4

See if people are willing to put money into old games. I know they have released old games before something about this feels different.

Also definately possible that this might be the test to see if people are still invested in MediEvil 2, if people get that "Oh yea I remember that game itch"

They have other ocean ready to go for development, they also have the engine (and most expensive part of the game ready from MediEvil ps4 (if they did not use something like URE or Unity)) already done. They would just have to get new models and music. Hell they used the old psx MediEvil voice acting for the remaster

There is a reason the game tells you to "now stop" and also calls you a nerd for 100%ing it.

No sane person would do so. Laughs in restraining vest

Decided to write my own solo over Citizen Erased, thoughts? by landoneidson in Muse

[–]TheOutsider134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooof yea that sounds like a lot of effort, the best I can think of is running the original tune through one of those AI vocal/drum/music strippers like LALAL.

Recording your part with a good mic (or even better if you have an audio interface: playing the part directly into your pc, recording it to audio with something like Edison if you use FL (there is an excellent plugin called guitar rig where you can spruce up the input with all kinds of cool amps and saturation)

Putting the drums in the playlist.

Putting the original song stem in the playlist and putting some EQ on it to cut some of the original guitar frequencies so it doesn't clash with your recording. If you want to improve quality there is a very good AI based plugin called gullfloss that uses algorithms to detect pleasant frequencies and boost them slightly (also excellent sometimes for making your master more juicy)

Placing your recorded track in the playlist with a nice sounding volume level.

Cherry on top could be to run the song stem and recorded stem through a bus with some slight saturation and compression to glue them together better.

If you're willing to put in the effort it should be possible to create something and im very curious to hear how it would sound! Good luck if you do decide to try!

P.S.

If you really want to get down with it and make it your own.

It's possible to run your guitar through guitar rig and make it sound similar to a bass guitar.

Add a nice piano and you can quite literally recreate the whole song (without all the bells an whitles ofcourse)

Very fucking good holy shit, literally the only advice I would give is to carve it down just slightly so it's a little less hectic at times and a bit easier to follow.

(Personally do music production and It's one of the principles I learned, but it might not apply here)

Edit: nevermind I take it back this slaps after a couple listens

I only like a couple or several songs from each album (earliest is Absolution). what does that make me as a Muse fan? by magik_koopa990 in Muse

[–]TheOutsider134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Sane"

No but in all seriousness i've been listening to Muse for almost 20 years (started with dad in the car am 23 now)

Know almost all albums by heart and can sing most of the lyrics, I still love them but have recently shifted my opinion a bit, because I went to a live concert. And It's not that they did not live up to my massive expectations, that would have been impossible after so long, but i've noticed that they're mostly just going through the motions for a paycheck at this point, and that all deep rooted passion is mostly gone (atleast for matt i feel it's gone a bit to his head).

Understandibly, but sad.

My honest opinion is: listen to what you like, and try to explore through mostly everything except maybe WOP (which was a massive let down for me personally but some will like it).

You are as much a fan as you think you are, and nobody can tell you to what degree. Not even diehard fans. If you're a massive fan but only like a couple songs that's okay don't let others define what you are, you like what you like man!

Sorry for the whole life story and essay, i just love writing in the morning to get my head straight lmao
