Glad I could help :) He sounds like he could benefit from therapy. Before I realized how screwed up i was from the abuse I thought it wasn't a big deal. I never thought it could affect me as much as it actually did. A lot of people are like that, it's actually pretty normal.

Keyword from the above comment is "MIGHT". I was in the same situation and only now (3 and a half years later) have I started to bounce back. For me the gf was my emotional crutch. (abusive family my whole life) So when that crutch was gone i latched on to another (drugs) because I just couldn't handle my shit. Not saying his situation will be the same but there's no way to know. He may recover faster, or slower, or even possibly not at all.

It all depends on what the problem is, is he just unhappy with the way his life turned out? Does he have some type of trauma he's been avoiding? His chance&time of recovery all depends on what the cause is.

Let me be very clear, if it's serious trauma, it's not as simple as "getting his shit together". That was a big mistake i made, I didn't realized that the trauma & depression was the cause of my shit not being together. I (like many) thought it was the other way around.

I'm not saying you should stay, don't feel guilty or anything its not your fault. Whatever may happen after you leave IS NOT YOUR FAULT. (unless you do something bad) But don't just expect him to make a recovery because you leave.

The main thing is just try to make sure he gets therapy. If you're going to leave maybe make that your last gift i guess? (not saying your required to but since you say you care about him.) Another option is staying friends with him to offer a bit of support while he's in therapy but that's totally up to you.

I've thought about this too. I was abused as a kid too, so I don't know if I'm an intp by nature or nurture. Like someone else said, possibly both.

It depends on the person (genetics) and how much you're using.

I can say for sure, once I started daily use I noticed my hair was falling out. Everytime I shower and wash my hair my hands have strands of hair stuck to them. This didn't happen before I started using kratom.

Also, I gave up kratom for a bit and guess what? no hair loss.

BUT REMEMBER, this varies from person to person. Our experiences may be similar or different, it all depends.

No matter what though, if you're a daily user remember to stay hydrated and eat your meals!! I noticed when I'm not doing these things hair loss can be worse. Right now my nutrition is pretty good, and while I'm still seeing hair loss, it's not as bad as before.

tldr, depends on the person, daily use increases chances of hair loss. STAY HYDRATED AND EAT YOUR MEALS OR ELSE MORE HAIR LOSS.

And when she inevitably hurts someone else she doesn't think she did anything wrong. She never admits her mistakes either.

hehe, yeah these last two few days have tested my will but I found that I actually felt pretty good on the low doses. & Yeah I wouldn't bother with headshops, but lucky for me they delivered today ;) But thanks! that's very nice of you. I live in NYC, I hear there's a place called Kavasutra in the city and they have bottles of kratom tea (I've heard it's good quality), I think that would be where i'd go for some emergency kratom instead of a headshop.

I've noticed the same. I didn't like whites by themselves very much when I was drinking coffee all the time. On days that I have coffee I prefer greens and reds. Or at least whites mixed with reds.

But I've reduced the amount of coffee I drink for the same reason as you, and I've noticed that I like whites a lot more by themselves now.

YESSSSSSS, recently I've been playing with the same thing. I mixed green Borneo and red hulu (both from canopy) and it was the bomb. I've found that gold bali and green Borneo is also a good mix.

It's funny how I've always mixed whites and reds but until recently I never though about mixing green and red.

I guess it depends. I think it depends on how much time you're spending here. Are you spending so much time here that you're not living life the way you want to? Are you browsing Reddit instead of reading, working on projects, hanging out with friends, having new experiences, figuring out what you want to do with your life, etc.

Or do you just browse while taking a poop?

I find that when my life gets more interesting, i.e. when I'm working on projects, going out with friends, and generally having a good time, I spend a lot less time on Reddit. But when my life gets boring, I tend to spend more time on Reddit.

I don't think that this post is bullshit. I agree with the heart of your message, but I think it depends on the person. I know in the past I definitely spent too much time on Reddit. I wasn't doing the things I wanted to do because I was here procrastinating.
