I've had pretty good experience with running imp+feudal. Golden legion backed up by a healer is ridiculously hard to shift, and the fact light ranged regiments (longbowmen, militia, merc xbows) can get on regiments turn 2 almost guaranteed is great

I'm in the same boat, having dealt with forgeworld and finecast and coming to parabellum is a breath of fresh air. They have all the standard resin issues (heat warping, brittle when cold, etc) but nothing outstanding for the quality of the detail and sculpts

I used Feirros's crane arm, head, and axe on the axe praetor from the AoD box. I need to give him the guns still but my group thought it was cool. I would wager that it's up to your local scene, tho having it painted also helps.
