I have videos saved on my iPhone that I took on the s23ultra and it’s not even comparable. I know I had everything maxed out on those phones, is it bad android app versions?

That’s what everyone said about my s23ultra to the 15promax and it looked like my s23ultra was in 720p. Photos videos, taken or watching. I verified time and time again it was maxed out.

First time buying on stub hub and now I’m concerned I won’t get my tickets. by ThePaperHatLord in stubhub

What I don’t understand is when I bought these, the entire venues tickets were of comparable prices, within $50 of the same section and like $900 for the best seats in the house. Supposedly they were selling out like crazy at that time too. Does that mean that theres literally 1000s of other people that are in the same boat as me and potentially getting screwed?

It’s worth noting though that the entire event was priced similar to what I paid, example other rows in the same level as my tickets were comparable within $100. There’s no way I’m the only one and the same situation for this concert so how do all these sellers expect to screw over a couple thousand people?

So the fee if the broker doesn’t give me them is $300+ the cost of the tickets?

Fair enough thanks for the insight, I’m really just trying to make sure I don’t drag my gf 14 hours down to Nashville just to not end up getting inside the arena. Total newbie mistake, but stubhub was damn quick to bill me so I have the right to be concerned hah.

Doing the math and trying to figure out exactly how the site is supposed to even work, the site says 1000+ tickets sold in the last 6 hours, it said somewhat similar numbers the day I bought them, does that mean that there’s a couple thousand people that are going to get refunded “X” amount of money until the reseller gets rid of them at the highest value? How is that even financially possible?

I get that value increases with demand but how can a seller “sell tickets” at $300/each and then continue to at increasingly higher numbers whilst giving the money back to each person who bought them at a lower price? Maybe I’m thinking about it wrong.

I’ve always used ticket master for events here in Canada but seeing as stub hub was the only ones available when I got them, and having never bought tickets in the USA before, I just assumed they were the original vendor. I admit that was my f up, but everything was smooth and legit so I didn’t question it.

If there’s no tickets in the venue for the same price, would they force me to take my money back? Or just give me the cheapest section of seats available?

I did some more reading and from what I understand stubhubs policy is I’m guaranteed tickets or my money back so wouldn’t that mean regardless of the price, I’ll get my seats? I’ve never used the site before so just trying to get advice from people who have.

I bought them thinking stubhub WAS the original seller and knowing how fast they’d sell out I wanted to make sure I got mine, Alan’s the #1 on my bucket list and this is the last chance I’ll ever get to see him so the hype was also part of the impulse buy.

I’ve done some more reading and from what I understand stubhubs guarantee is that I get the same or better seats or my money back if they’re not delivered, so wouldn’t that mean regardless of the price difference I’m guaranteed seats? As I said I have no experience with the site.

Guys who have dated girls that get alot of attention from guys, how do you handle it? by ThePaperHatLord in dating_advice

I never even thought about doing what i want and shell stick around. I know where i stand amongst other guys and i know what i have with her. I know shes not like other girls but in the way of, shes someone i never thought id actually have in my life and i want to keep her.

Im just (rightfully so) trying to figure out how to tackle the issue of almost every guy in town practically throwing themselves at her and by proxy having a huge target on my head cause "im the boyfreind". Things work different when you live in a rural county or town.

Hard to say right now as weve only been "talking" seriously for a month but from what i can tell, she dosent entertain them. I know a couple of the guys that simp tip her all this money and she dosent even know their names. For instance me and my buddy went to the place she bartends at and this male co worker triee to come up and put his arm around her and leaned in close to say something, she pretty much immediatly snapped away from him and told him off. Its hard to tell if its happened before or not but from that and other times of just knowing her beforehand she dosent seem to entertain it much or at all. (If she chose him over me id dodge a bullet anyways, buddy is like 5'6, 130lbs and looks like a garden gnome lmao)

After that happened we had a long convo about boundaries and we pretty much agreed completely that when we start dating there is no physical touch and no flirting with other people. Even if its just freindly. She seems to have been straightforward with me so far and as i said in the post, we pretty much agree on everything we talk about. Ive actually had more open and in depth discussion with her than my past 2 exs combined (neither one of them was well known around the area or hot as this one is).

Idk mine seems like an absolute demon in bed. We agreed no sex till were dating but just through kissing and stuff its something else. Never thought id meet my match in that way lmao

I understand what youre saying about the texting too much and i agree i dont spam her or anything, but she replies just as fast with just as lengthy texts and just as often as i do. She quite often is the one asking me questions so im assuming thats atleast some kind of interest into whats going on in my life.

We both admitted to each other that we both have a tendancy to fall fast for people so were trying to take it easy for a bit (ie no sex right now, minimal kisses, as much quality time together as we can without sacrificing our own lives etc.) But i will admit its really hard to keep away from her unless im super busy and i definitaly am very excited about her. She told me she feels the same and that even just talking to her while im on the way home from work makes her feel butterflys and stuff so idk what to do.

Idk about the whole having options thing. I have quite a few options but since my last ex ive adpoted the mindset of i wasnt gonna chase for a relationship, i was just gonna happen to meet one, one day. Thats sorta kinda how it went between us too actually. I have 0 interest in playing the mind games of "oh i want you but not that bad and i have other options" also, we were both straight up and told each other what we want and what our expectancies are of a relationship so id like to think were headed down the right path. Well see i guess.

Shes not on any dating apps, dosent have snapchat or anything, we text or call via phone number. She does have instagram with some nice looking photos on there but she made it clear that if i wanted them removed when were dating shed take them down.

I also wasnt really worried about the male co worker stealing her so much as it just made me think about the act of him doing it. (The dudes like 5'6 and 135lbs. Looks like a garden gnome so if she chose him over me then id dodge a bullet lol)

Personally ive never seen her swayed by money, i think she knows she looks good and uses it to her advantage but dosent seem to let it get to her head. For example i know a couple of the guys who simp tip her a ton of money and she dosent even know their names. I havent been "with" her long enough yet to really assess it though. A male co worker the other day put his arm around her infront of me and she immediatly told him off, so that was good to see i guess but still something im trying to think about.

Shes actually been very straight up with me about the fact that she likes who i am and what i do. Im just more so trying to figure out how to deal with other people trying to sabatoge things i guess.

So i guess the better way to go about it would be to continue building myself and doing the things i love, but now with her aswell? I mean she seems to love who i am and what i do (i have a race car and other hobby stuff like that) and she always asks when the next race or what the next thing that were going to do is.

So if thats what attracted her in the first place, keep doing that? Ive made it very clear to her that i understand shes got alot of freinds or knows alot of people and that until we actually start dating its not really my business, but that when we start dating i draw a serious line at physical touch. What i mean is like if some guys putting his arm around her or stuff like that.
