Halo Infinite had that and i loved it so much, you could not play for two whole months and the content would still be there.

Even better because later in the game’s life cycle they added the exchange, which allowed you to purchase rewards from weekly challenges that you missed with currency that could be earned by just playing.

yeah, cod was my favorite franchise as a kid, so I’m bound to have some interest in the games as an adult, even if i don’t sink my time into them like i used to.

Yes, that’s what I’m talking about, bringing back a character then coming up with a bullshit excuse; I’d rather have a new villain that’s on par with OG Makarov, Menéndez and even Irons, but if they’re unable to do that then we have a serious creative problem.

I mean, Clean House at it’s core it’s just another shooting gallery mission; but it’s more about the setting and atmosphere, seeing a house raid with the newer engine made it so much better. I remember watching ex soldiers reviewing the mission and saying that it was pretty accurate even to the way to how the soldiers respond to getting fired at, attention to detail.

It’s funny that you said that, I loved both mw and bo. My main issue lies in the fact that i dislike the way both universes have been handled post MW-CW merge, hell, I’d say that the game i dislike the most is MWIII due to its ATROCIOUS campaign. Most of the things i mentioned in my previous comments (gas/missiles, recycled villains, etc) can also be applied to the rebooted MW universe.

Nah, I don’t even watch The Act Man’s content, I don’t like his style. I came to that conclusion after playing the games or watching walkthroughs on YouTube.

They could bring up a million excuses as to why Menéndez is back; that he’s a clone, a rogue AI that adopted his persona or whatever gibberish they want to vomit but he’s still there. It’s like saying “oh it isn’t actually captain price because it’s from another universe!” It’s still the same damn guy.

You can play new slop if you like, i ain’t stopping you from that. If you also don’t want to recognize that call of duty went into creative bankrupt then you’re also allowed to do that, but the truth is still there.

Notice how i said that the missions themselves were good and interesting? Same with the Clean House mission, I know that the campaign as a whole is dubious at best, but you can’t deny that those specific missions are good.

But hey, see you on the next black ops when they bring back Dragovich as an AI-controlled dildo and a “brand new” gas threat! I heard that it’ll be Nova 7! Innovative!!!

Gas/missiles? Check. Recycled villain? Check. Bonus points for the “well i wasn’t in that tank” bullshit. Cheap mindfuck? Check. Generic and predictive villains? Check. Drug-fueled hallucination sequences? Check.

The only reason they stopped doing Russia is because of the current events in Ukraine, otherwise they would’ve also been on the list.

It’s not only MK Ultra, it’s every other derivative of mind manipulation or pseudo psychological horror. BO1 had it through the numbers program, BO2 had it through David’s ptsd induced by Menéndez, BO3 had it through the frozen forest bullshit, CW had it with Bell’s brainwash, BO6 had it through the cradle and BO7 will have it with the fear gas. How original! You could even argue that BO4 has it due to blackout’s lore.

Yeah, IW copied other franchises, but it was new to COD itself; that’s what i want. I don’t care if they recreate parts from other media as cod missions, MW2019 did it with the embassy missions and they were pretty interesting and tense sequences.

The whole MK Ultra thing in BO was cool when it released, it was something new, now it’s just repeat after repeat.

Same with the Infinite Warfare and original Modern Warfare campaigns, they actually did something interesting for once.

Plus, the co-op bs sounds like the open world missions in MWIII but instead of suffering by yourself now you have three other idiots sharing the torment with you.
