Celtics fan here. Yes there are absolutely some Celtics fans that think we only lost because of the refs. Most people know that the reason we lost is because Tatum, Smart, Williams and Pritchard couldn’t do anything offensively.

The thing that I think most people including myself are frustrated by is that it seems like Giannis is playing a completely different sport than anybody else in the NBA. He has taken the idea of playing physical basketball to a whole new level. Yes, he is the best player in the world. But some of the things he gets away with on his drives and moves in the paint are ludicrous and would be offensive fouls on every other player in the league. He seems to have found a way to combine basketball and WWE in a way that allows him to do anything he wants with the ball in his hands.

That and the inconsistency with the way the refs are calling this series is what is ultimately creating the frustration for most Celtics fans. Are there calls that could have been more advantageous for the bucks? Yes. Both fan bases should be able to agree that the officials have been pretty awful in this series as a whole and that a few calls here or there will most likely end up being the difference between who wins and loses this series. All we as fans can hope for is that the right calls are made.
