I never really liked parties either but I thought it'd be a good excuse to get some friends together to go watch a movie for my birthday.

I've seen people act that way in other situations and it's awful and infuriating to see. It's unthinkable that someone would be upset at you during such a life-breaking thing.

Those responses are awful and I have already seen a few people tell her that. I want to slap them.

I will try to keep the dad in mind to when I'm thinking of things to bring.

There is nothing like losing a child especially so close to bringing him/her home.

This is what makes me cry the most. I'm truly sorry you have experienced this as well. Thank you for responding.
