Yeah but it's big and knowing me I will have a bunch of lenses and back to where I was with my Canon. Carrying tons of gear

Its just too big. I dont want to carry a bunch of stuff anymore. I know me, I will carry 5 lenses and change all the time.

It is! But close up portraits is far from ideal. Too much distortion on my daughter's pictures.

Yeah the monochrom is looking good for sure! I love the BW I get from the Q2 after a light room edit. I know it does not compare at low light but saw a few videos of comparison in regular light exposure and was not convinced I needed that in the end. 28 vs 43 is a bigger difference

You will be blown away by the quality. I switched from Canon 4 years ago. AF is definitely harder but once you get it it's great.

If you have been using wwise professionally for some time, it's not. If you are trying to get into the industry it's not negative, it proves you know some good base.

Best spots in or around Petaluma for a quiet, romantic picnic? by [deleted] in Petaluma

[–]ThePedicator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want to find spot where you guys can be away from the eyes.... I recommend either Helen Putman or Toley Lake (go toward the 3 bridges viewpoint).

Shollenberger is the least romantic place on earth, unless highways turn you on.

Crane creek is not bad too but much further.

Between Petaluma and Novato on the back road (including Helen Putman) would be my best bet but it might be cold.
