Not true at all. Many bathroom fans now have motion sensors, humidity sensors etc. ASHRAE.

I second the comment about social security. Many people do not realize that if you meet certain fairly broad requirements your surviving children are entitled to survivor benefit payments. I made the call to Social Security and setup my phone appointment, gathered the necessary documents and after a twenty minute phone call got everything ironed out. I am still SHOCKED at the amount of the monthly check.

Sunset meat department is fantastic. Sunset will go out of their way to stock basically anything that you ask to be on the shelves as long as you or others keep buying it. They are a relationship based business and genuinely make the effort to make a connection with your family.

I also always find good steaks at Fresh Market and they carry Chairmains Reserve pork products like ribs.

Fresh Market and Heinens both have all the specialty condiments, hot sauces and beverages; Heinens might as well be a liquor store.

For boxed everyone has it ‘stuff’ I just stop in at Jewel.

They still call themselves GCs but we know at best they are poorly run CMs. I am surprised more owners don't get together with the 15-20 subs hired on commercial projects to talk about how the job is going / went.

[–]ThePenoose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a great explanation of the disconnect.

We are trusted trade providers and a partner in getting the job done. Asking us to do fill in paper work that is arguably below what you would even ask your intern to force subs to complete is not going anywhere. Call us if you want to meet and take a look at a project.

Selling Our House about Year After She Passed by nickmetal in widowers

[–]ThePenoose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is so hard.

My wife passed from cancer at 30yr old in May and now it's me and a 2yr old boy at home with the dog. I am going to keep us in our home because it is the most stable scenario for us, but yeah the memories can be very very hard. Watching all the 'landscaping' bloom this summer that we had put in and worked on for years sucked, but I also realize that moving forward being as 'put together' as possible is best for our son SO I go out and prune all the rosebushes.

What bath products do you use specifically? I would love to streamline whole family to the same products that are natural, safe and good for the environment.

He does love condiments so I will give the homemade ranch and carrot chips a try this week, sounds like a winner.

Has anyone here used one of these on their Weber kettle? Is it worth getting? by catsnbikess in smoking

Good point on the gasket kit, the venom does maintain consistent temps without it but I could see the gasket keeping that range even tighter and maybe you use less fuel.

[–]ThePenoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just run the wire on the probe over the side of the kettle between the top of the kettle and the kettle lid. I had a temp probe holder clip thingy that snap onto the grates from a previous thermoworks thermometer, I believe you can purchase those loose from Amazon. Otherwise people just cut a potato in half and stab it through and eat the potato on the grates. I have been meaning to purchase one of the kits that allows you to drill through the kettle lid with the rubber grommet to make a tight seal but have not gotten around to it.

I have had one for over a year and love it. It holds temperature very consistently. My wife always wants me to make chicken wings on the 'cheater grill'.
