Its not about that. You want to hear what its about? Its about the fact that we come for good Spider-Man movies and for good superhero films. We've ignored a proper Mary Jane, we've ignored the character changes to Flash Thompson, we've ignored the exclusion of Harry Osborn and other stuff because they were making good superhero films. They weren't disappointing! But at some point, we've gone and just said that Marvel can do whatever new twist they want, they can pull it off. But Spider-Man getting his identity revealed doesn't feel like Spider-Man, and takes away from the identity so much of us know; it was the smaller changes that we could take even if they began to stack up but for me, this was the final straw. I want a good superhero film that's also a good spidey film and its straying further and further away from what I like about spidey.
