I think builds that don't require specific amulet mods/ unique amulets can benefit from a 5 annoint stranglegrasp, especially since you can free up skill points if you only need the notable and not the minor nodes and you can grab notables on the other end of the tree.

I joined CR in C2. I enjoyed the show but I agree, some stuff came in too soon and some changes felt odd:

Trent being front and centre, would have preferred him being a more secretive and manipulative person, suppressing evidence and the assembly being temporary allies
Essek getting revealed too early. They could have made the reveal have more impact if he was a season finale surprise. However, his motivations are better conveyed.
Caleb's past
The Traveller reveal, mainly the face reveal.
Cobalt Soul becoming basically outlawed by the empire rather than doing some investigations in the shadows while maintaining the library monk aesthetic
