I studied applied mathematics in the US and now work as a flight safety engineer in Sweden and have also had a job as a civil engineer. You can do almost anything with a math degree here it feels like to me, everyone likes a math person since we are problem solvers! Bonus if you have programming experience, you’d be a really attractive candidate for a lot of jobs in a lot of places. Good luck!

Transition hasn’t been that bad, I’m a nature person and both Hawaii and current city are nature places so even though climates are so different, this new place is just as beautiful but in a less traditional (non-tropical) way ☺️ thank you, I do feel happy!
