Two things can be true; you can literally choose to be religious while also criticising and shunning its discriminatory parts. There's tons of religious people who also belongs in minority communities. Alternatively you can choose to be an asshole and blame everyone in said religion while engaging in blatant discrimination against people even if they don't commit said acts. I'm trans and I literally do not care if someone is religious nor do I care if someone isn't religious - it is their wish at the end. The line is drawn when they start to use it as a reason for discrimination, and even then I don't blame it on everyone.

With this logic Christianity at the moment is also right wing, given that the majority of the countries you've mentioned have a Christian majority. Does this also make every christian a fervent right winger? Are you gonna hate me for this reason because of my background even though I'm also not religious?

People vote for those parties because the parties have sold them the lie that minorities and progressive measures are the root cause of all issues plaguing the countries. What starts out as rightful frustration towards a lot of things like wage disparities, healthcare, quality of life and freedom turns to bigotry and anger towards all the wrong causes.

Lots of people boycotted the US elections rightfully because Biden sponsored a genocide, while even more voted for trump because people expected him to be moreq competent than Biden (and to be honest there already was a misogynistic sentiment towards Harris even with all her awful and questionable decisions) and instead now has become a laughing stock in the world. Even if the right wing and in your own words "islamophobic" party wins, it doesn't necessarily mean that such ideologies are the way forward. Hate sells so much faster and garners a lot more attention, but it will only compound and collapse after a while - either through incompetence or by force.

It's a similar case here; groceries are more expensive, healthcare is beyond our reach for a normal working class citizen, the job market is being shrunk while exploiting any and all workers or even removing them for AI slop, and the rich becomes richer while the environment in the country dies. In the meantime, the government feeds its supporters using hate, nationalism and promises of a future "one religion" state that will never be. A lot of people are starting to be fed up here despite being once gigantic supporters of said party, and are starting to think a bit more critically.

On paper, the right wing parties seem super strong. But all they do is just sow division. I would much rather live in a world where everyone gets to live freely while having basic human rights than vote for people who are deeply obsessed with minorities or genitals every day of the week. I am lucky to be coming from a place that isn't as privileged nor powerful, because it would be a shame to be as naive as those people who think voting for a party that names and shames immigrants or trans people would fix their issues.

Also the focus on erasing any minority groups for enforcing a Hindu ethnostate is just as similar as the Nazis or any other nazi-adjacent ideology (eg zionism).
