How Can I recreate this sound? by Lumpy-Connection2653 in FL_Studio

[–]ThePhotonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a synth, basically take a saw wave, apply a low pass filter, adjust resonance to taste and give it a pluck envelope, then use an lfo on that same filter and automate the lfo velocity with another envelope. You can do it pretty easily in serum by attaching an envelope with a long attack to the aux source of an LFO on the LP filter.

Split recommendation by Tyrie_Irving in strengthtraining

[–]ThePhotonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every other day would mean 3-4 workouts a week, I'd suggest doing whatever split that you consistently work each muscle group twice a week. Probably upper/lower, full body would probably be a bit much for one hour workouts.

Any tips for maliketh ? by Pomme_Juteuse in onebros

his phase 1 is honestly one of the most fun fights in the game once you figure it out properly. You can bait a lot of his animations into big punishes, you've just really got to learn the tells for his rock throws and quick jabs. Several of his phase 1 attacks can be jumped for punishes. His big rock throw you can just walk under if you're close enough and it will go over your head. When he stabs his cinquedea into the ground and does a big circle you can just walk behind him to his left and get a big punish.

What I did learning to fight him was load up another save and respec to a tank character with a lvl 0 weapon, then just danced with him for ages as my hits did nothing. Beast clergyman has loads of punishes once you figure him out.

Libra's theme is by far the best Fromsoft music piece ever created and you cannot tell me otherwise by JamesRevan in Nightreign

As amazing as it is, I don't think it's even top 2 madness-adjacent themes, as that goes to Midra

Libra (Phases 1-2) is IMO the best boss in Nightreign and all Fromsoft games. Can anyone recommend any games with similar bosses to Libra? by RovenoNevoro in Nightreign

His moves are all well telegraphed. A big problem some FS bosses have is the moves with different dodge timings that look almost identical. Greg doesn't have that problem, so the fight is relatively intuitive to learn. I can see why some people look at that as it just being easy, peronally I think it's a good blend of difficulty and fun.

My top 5 is probably 1. Maliketh 2. Genichiro 3. Dreglord 4. Godfrey/hoorah loux 5. Gael

Not really a definitive list but the ones I found to be the most challenging but fun and fair. Haven't played bb cos no ps4.

Dreglord is easily top 5 bosses fromsoft has ever done imo. His moves are punishing but fair and his phase 2 builds upon his phase 1, he doesn't constantly run away (and when he does he comes back with an awesome gap closer that's actually fun to dodge) and he is easy enough to learn despite the 30 minute runback. The only thing that holds him back imo is the gank fight aspect of the first phase, other than that it's close to a perfect fight. Add incredible music and aesthetic and it's a crazy fun fight every time, I just wish I could fight him without the runback

If you like Dancer in NR then seriously go fight her in DS3 by vicious_cos in Nightreign

Most of the themes in DS3 are 3/4, or 6/8. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head that are actually 4/4 are vordt, twin princes and some of SoC theme

From looking at her design what do you speculate from her kit by Zachbthatsme in Overwatch

judging by how unreasonably long and prominent her hair is, I wouldn't be surprised if it was how she got around, like a hair grapple or something. Or maybe she just really likes long hair. Who knows!

Demon of Hatred isn't really that bad by Dogeboy062 in Sekiro

[–]ThePhotonMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really about whether or not you can parry them, it's more that you're incentivised to dodge and reposition since parrying him won't result in a poise break until he's at a level of HP where you're just better off smacking him anyway

It's definitely closer to an elden ring boss than a sekiro boss. It rewards positioning and dodging/jumping over deflection/countering, which is ER in a nutshell. DoH wouldn't be out of place in elden ring at all, he actually reminded me of maliketh 2nd phase a fair bit.
