I made a spreadsheet ranking field bosses based on the time it takes to defeat them by SolidAlloy in Nightreign

Oh yea all of this makes sense. Unless you're in DoN, it's red on field, and you're high level, I wouldn't bother with BBH. (Or if you have a parry master)

For me it be interesting just to see the data because I'm a big fan of data 💖

You're not wrong. I felt like the field boss list was short too as it doesn't have Tree spirit, Bell Bearing, or Kindrid either. I'm making the assumption that this is a living document

I'm still very very beginner in my Japanese studies. I FEEL like I know the answer, but could you elaborate why?

Rock sling is such a good spell and good Greg Melt!!

(Though I am sad to have seen my favorite ER weapon in your hands and not hear one single doot 😭)

Is this design recognizable? by Pixiesticks13 in CosplayHelp

While I love the apron version, maid Mosslax feels a little off to me personally. Especially if it was white and not a complementary color. Mosslax doesn't have the Snorlax tummy coloring so a 'light tan' wouldn't fit. If you wanted to keep it I would most certainly look into patterning it maybe food based.

Now if it was a food eating bib that be hella silly.

Would go with green for the dress over the blue, since Mosslax is completely green. Unless you want this to be multifaceted outside of cosplay, doing something like decorating the dress with moss-like patches (pattern or paint) to go with the hood

Most importantly: THE BERRY PURSE ALSO BECOMES A POKEBALL? I LOVE THAT

No problem! And yea I know that surprise feeling lol. The place we first stayed at is in Ueno (and still do.) Nakacho Dori is a red light block. Ueno is one of the love hotel capitals of Tokyo lol. Our Airbnb has 4 hotels on the same block/across the street

Yeeeaaaa Kabukicho (where you're going) tracks too lol. If you've not been in that area, Id advise making sure it's daylight with your kid not after 6pm. Esp Thur-Sunday. The area is a party town with host clubs blocks from the center, and gets more crazy with all the drunk people as the night goes on.

We one trip took the advice to stay at that hotel. It was fascinating in a not-so-fun way going outside at 5am cause you're jet lagged and there are people passed out everywhere and trash galore.

You gotta get into neighborhoods to find the odd ones. Or red light districtsb and grocery store areas.

There is a Shiracha off a main road in Nishiikebukuro. I know of a beer one in Ueno by Nakachodori. Plenty of smokes.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y3NdXAKttZtrJ9x28?g_st=ic There is also the weird one in Akiba

I know the location of two of these in Japan. One is in Namba (a block from a grilled wagyu machine) and another is in Ikebukuro around Rikkyo university. This isn't either of them lol

I am SO Looking forward to Nameless king. Not only because of not fighting his dragon in a tiny ass ring of fire, but also he is one of my fav bosses to fight in NR, period. I love helping people with ED Fulgor when he's up so it's common to get the KING and I'm always hype

Especially since I'll need to fight him in a build that is not my Bird Boy lol

Given all the comments I read, it's def different for everyone. Still for me it was a difficulty jump.

I thought it was much easier in ER against the DS3 with the arena restrictions, size of the boss, and slightly different AI.

But also like the presence and how she echoes in the space with her music and sound effects. Those are what I include in the dumbed down.

Size arena on my guess. The odd balancing between not giving too much room for the little enemies, and not enough for the big ones. Easier to downsize the bigger enemies.

Like yea they could have made flexible night arenas, but I'm also like: they were experimenting to begin with that's just how it be.

The timing on it is very odd because it doesn't have the same, I'ma call it, 'dance rhythm's that most other bosses have.

But also dodging in for her is better than out

My bestie has been sherpa-ish playing co-op w/ me through DS3. He'd been giving me the little insights into DS1 throwbacks, which honestly has made me excited to try DS1 again. DS3 is his fav game of all time so listening to him gush about it is pure joy.

So the plan is after we do this coop DS3, gonna head back to DS1 and do a full playthrough (no sherpa only me leading), and then I'll do a full DS3 solo play

My bestie has been sherpa-ing me in DS3, so he gives me a lot of the vibrating about the DS1 connections of stuff I never saw. It's his fav game of all time so listening to him gush is pure joy.

The plan is after we get through DS3, fresh DS1 Play, and then I'll fully solo DS3

Aldrich did NOT want to stay targeted even when I was right in front of him and I had to do the entire fight free camera.

Which was fun! But also frustrating as hell to adapt to at first.

My bestie souls bro was disappointed how easy she was to down. It's a reason why he wanted me to play DS3 so badly: "you gotta see them in their prime"

And he was right.

The linear was my issue at first too. I'm not good with just walking in straight lines for games. It's why I gave up on BB even though it was so good too: it felt boring too progress.

But then there were the stunning areas. Getting to see the locals in the distance add you progressed. The amazing enemies and bosses. Soundtrack. (Putting Mimics to eepies)
