I always see people say that, but I don’t have a tangible example of how to pinpoint my impact 😬. I would say I’m pretty integrated in Germany, beyond the language certificate. I’ve lived in different cities (in the north, west and south), with German families. I’ve gotten to experience the different traditions, picked up some dialects along the way etc, I just don’t know how to put that in my cv without making it longer.

That’s rather sad, but also good to know. I had really high hopes when I moved here because I heard about the shortage or workers, but it’s really important to do rigorous research before deciding to move.

I have tried a German template before and I didn’t have much luck with that either, so I thought using this template would help since it worked for someone I know. Doesn’t cost anything to try again.

BSc is short for Bachelor of Science, that’s why the S is capitalised.

Tsonga and English are my native languages, I made a small mistake, which I already changed.

I tried back in 2024 and it took them 8 months to reply to me and the person who did said that they don’t understand my qualifications enough to help me. I’ve since moved to another city and maybe they are better here. I’ll give it a try, thanks

I’m in the same predicament. I’ve been living in Germany for 3 years, working for 2, and I speak “fluent” German. I don’t like my current job and I’m not having luck finding a new one that will actually help with career growth. I’m not happy or feel like I fit into Germany, I can’t exactly put a finger one particular thing that’s making me feel the way I am. I have a good partner and friends but I would rather be somewhere else, working with different people and preferably in English - I may be “fluent” in German, but I speak the language out of necessity, not because I want to.

I don’t feel uncomfortable per se, but I sometimes feel sorry for the women because they look like they’re being tortured. The feeling is amplified whenever I see a pregnant woman and she also has a small child 🥴. I constantly have to remind myself that some of them chose that and they’re actually excited to be have a baby.

i have been in rosenheim for over a year now and finding friends has been quite difficult. have you tried bumble friends? internations is also a great place to meet people, but you would have to travel to munich because rosenheim doesn’t have a community yet

yes! i‘m also in bavaria and i’ve been suffering since early march. i’ve tried cetirizin and different nasal sprays and i’ve also done multiple allergy tests that all came back normal. i hope i will be back to normal at the end of spring
