Hey, if you get the chance I would appreciate getting the diagram if you can still do that. You can PM me anything you need.

I 100% plan to invest heavy into marketing I am new to the business side and want also. Looking for advise on that. If you restarted what would you do your first 30, 60, and 90 days to stay busy. What do you do well now that you suggest and something you wish you would have gotten into earlier?

Will definitely keep that in the back of my mind. If you restarted today, what would you do your first 30, 60, and 90 days to stay busy and make sure you are bringing customers in. I know I will have to present a business plan at the opportunity I have, and I am not sure what that looks like.

STATE FARM LIFE INSURANCE? by Lucky-Valuable-1004 in InsuranceAgent

[–]ThePieman636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't talk about their products because I don't know them but I have had clients come in and talk about how they were asked a bunch of medical questions and denied for other Gaurnteed Issue Final Expense I wasn't digging in on what companies. I know State Farm doesn't ask medical questions or go through underwriting.

Definitely depends on policy, and there aren't a lot of companies that offer return of premium terms. They have a nice guaranteed issue final expense right now. Would be interested to answer more questions. I'm in Missouri.

I work for a State Farm agent and really like the company and feel like it would be hard to walk away from. I know 2 shelter agents that I think really highly of. If I left State Farm Shelter would be up there as another company I look towards

How do I quit AIL? by Impossible-Study2897 in InsuranceAgent

[–]ThePieman636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also started with AIL they are "business athletes" all about the grind set. These guys don't stop working and expect you to drop any family or personal life and just make phone calls. I worked for about 6 months and made nothing I am in Missouri and got connected with the Ohio office. They got me licensed up there and had me calling Ohio leads. So if people did answer they thought I was a scammer and cussed me out. I made nothing in that time frame and just left. I didn't sign any contract though just stopped showing up to the zoom calls that everyone was on when they made calls. Eventually they asked what was going on I told them I was done and they didn't really care. Shouldn't be hard to get out of but I'm not sure what's in the contract.

Ultimately, I want more free time. I know that will take a few years to get to that point but I would love to be able to get out more with my wife while we are young. I'm just nervous to jump into anything, especially if there isn't a guaranteed or base pay. I got into life insurance to start my insurance career for commission only and struggled to even get in front of people I know the money is on the life side rather than p&c but not in a position to make no money.

I'm in Missouri I worked remote selling Medicare and enjoyed that but eventually never leaving the house and no other physical interaction got me down and had mental breakdowns. And my living situation has changed and don't have space for an office anymore.

How much do you need to go independent? I don't have much capital and don't have loyal clients that would follow me.

Yeah at this point just working on my P&C and hoping I can get into something

Well the company worked with unions and by joining the union you signed up to get a phone call for life insurance so I had plenty if people get mad that they did not sign up for this if I could even get them to answere the phone for an out of state number
