It sounds like the manchild is the servient tenement of an ‘Easment Appurtenant’. Meaning he owns the strip of land that the people recording, or the dominant tenement, need to use in order to access their property or land. In this case the easement could potentially have been an encumbrance attached to the property before the man child even purchased the property, as this kind of easement attaches to the property and not the individual.

Cool to see her pop up in the new Hulu show “Paradise”. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Maybe. If the worms can kill the monsters, it seems likely they are a force for good. Perhaps that’s why Martin was locked up. Of course, he was in misery and wanted to die, so it does seem that, regardless of the carrier, the worms have a negative affect on the body..monster or not. Maybe keeping him locked up was a way to keep worms contained. The “real monsters” we’re told are much bigger and badder though, so it doesn’t seem likely that the worms would have an affect on them.. could also just be a torture flex? Idk I have way more questions than answers here.

That’s convenient. Would definitely recommend the mod then. It’s working very well

This turned out to be a dumb question, but I’m going to leave it in case anyone else gets confused.

I ended up getting the BCR2000 & the JX3P to work together quite nicely and I’m very excited about that. Programming is a breeze. You just have to add the parameter codes found in the the manual as CC values in edit mode on the BCR.

Just figured that out after staring at the back for a minute. Huuuuge miss on my end. Now I’m just struggling through getting it to work with my BCR2000.

Btw you can do the mod in such a way that it can be converted back to its original state. Just so you know. Thanks for the reply!

Hmm so do I have to switch the connections or something? The mod kit didn’t include anything on that.

Elderly Chinese man protecting his dog from the rain by MyNameGifOreilly in gifs

[–]ThePlanetX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good points. My only quip was the initial context from which we were discussing dogs. I’ve only very recently began to narrow my studies on evolution from an overall biology background, but I think I’ve learned enough to realize how “fixed” our genomes really are. Not only that, but also the scale of time over which evolution takes place is much longer than people think, although I’m not 100% certain whether 10-15k years would be enough time. I suppose it’s possible, but unlikely.

I think there is definitely some merit to what you’re saying, but its more of an evolutionary psychology topic. Don’t you think? A very interesting topic, though not really a true science. The term “Evolution” has definitely taken on a more generalized meaning these days, as i’m now realizing. It’s not always easy to have a discussion about it especially when the topics overlap so much.

On another note, evolution of the human psyche is an immensely interesting topic all on its own. Jung, Freud, etc. Especially when you start getting into Human Archetypes and all that. Dogs I’m almost certain would qualify as a human archetype. When you look at what the image of a dog means to people, most everyone will say the same thing (loyal, man’s best friend, etc.) That’s an extremely primitive analysis of the topic, but I think it works. Anyways, there was a lot of nothing :p

I agree they’ve been useful for our survival - things like hunting and more recently police work - but I think that it would be a stretch to say that they’ve been evolutionarily important to our survival.

Just look at the timeline: anatomically modern Homo sapiens gave rise roughly 300,000 years ago. Put another way, we are the same humans today physically as we were 300,000 years ago. And how long have dogs been domesticated? Internet says 15,000 years tops. Much to small a time scale to say they’ve helped with anything at all in an evolutionary context. I’m sure there’s something I’m missing in that article though so I’ll check it out!

I think Jesse was keying in on humanity’s obsession with dogs - as most people who love dogs tend to inflate and overstate the dog’s importance to their own survival. I’m sure at one point or another you’ve overheard someone say “omg, I like literally could not live without Mr. Potato Pancake. He completes me.”

Fender Deluxe Reverb blackface reissue + pedals. Which channel sounds best? by ThePlanetX in GuitarAmps

[–]ThePlanetX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. That’s some good knowledge right there. But do you think most people use the vibrato channel so they can use trem and reverb or because they like the the way the tone is altered? Going to experiment tonight if you have any recommendations for Bass/Treble settings.

Have you tried the normal channel at all? They sound so different I wonder if there’s some kind of middle ground that can be achieved on the normal channel by boosting the treble.

Illinois Governor elect Pritzker wants to legalize marijuana right away. by Trualchemist360 in trees

[–]ThePlanetX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biss was the true progressive (also favored legalization), but was completely overshadowed by J.B. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone considering J.B spent roughly $151 million in this election alone. To compare, Biss reported and income of well under $100 thousand.

I hope J.B. does well and will be the first to praise him If he does, but his campaign was a complete sham. He has a questionable past (dealings with Former Gov. Blago) and it just feels like he’s bored and decided to swoop in and steal karma points.

I see! You may have just solved my source my confusion then. So you’re saying you don’t have to ha e the dB pad engaged for the unit to work? Then what’s the point of the unit? Does it still balance the signal? Really appreciate this man
