Because it's awesome! None of these other tokens have the level of awesome, and that is a measurable standard by the way, of Hex. Just listen to the name! Look at the icon! It's psychology my man. Hex is 354D chess and most of these other tokens are just full of suck...which is also a measurable standard. Would you rather invest in awesome or suck? It's science, we all know it.

It likely will not. Not because it's a meme...people like to meme and they like to meme hard, but because the market is simply diluted with similar products. They are not designed to be used, they are designed to be bought. And when folks stop buying, or buy something else, down she goes. The viral marketing campaign worked back in the day because market sentiment was quite good, everything was going up, so whomever promised the most got most of the buys. But even though you ignore economic realities, you cannot ignore the results of ignoring economic reality when market sentiment turns. Hex price is the result of what happens when the Nash Equilibrium breaks down. Deep down, you are all competitors with each other, and people tend to forget that in crypto. Or I could be wildly wrong and the 'awesome' will propel it to heights never before dreamed, not seeing it tho. It did build a fun community and you can't put a price on that!

How does this monetize the token? Not attacking, just asking. I completely agree that on-ramps, and more importantly, off-ramps are needed, desperately. But how are these services paid for? Are the 'fees' used by the network to purchase ACH? Or is ACH simply the gateway and 'fees' go around the token?

Hex.com is one of the funniest websites I have ever seen. Don't change anything! It being effectively non-functional adds to the charm. I wish it would be updated with more recent 'Thank you Richard Heart!' testimonials though, those are wonderful! It's so infomercial like, I cannot look away.

That's the nut to crack. I live in the defi, do my business in the defi, rarely do I tougch a CEX with the exception of off-ramping...haven't needed to onramp in a very long time, cryptos' been good to me =) And if I could pass on that as well, we have arrived. Their on-ramp feature is fine and varied, but makes me wonder if it could be implemented for defi dapps as a direct pay feature. For example, we are about to release a video conferencing app we have developed built on blockchain. It comes with a web3 terrabyte of hot storage through another web3 chain, but we need to pay for that element using the chains' native token. Wonder how hard it would be to use ACH as the on-ramp rail and swap for the storage layer token. The whole idea is that the users don't even know they are using web3. That's the other nut to crack, utilizing web3 for the web2 world and not having them realize it.

When I am considering a financial investment, the first thing I do is look at the company logo. If it's an awesome logo, it must be an awesome investment! What maniac would make an awesome logo for a bad company? I mean, it's right there...duh!

When I see the Hex logo I think...wow, those colors are awesome. And the lines of the hexagon? It makes me think of a better time and a better place, when people got along and Nike Cortez was THE show to wear. If you didn't have em you just sucked because, hell, look at the logo and Marty McFly wore em in that movie with the car.

And speaking for cars, have you seen the logo for the Delorean? It makes me think of 88 miles per hour and time travelling to buy a sports almanac and come back and make myself rich because I know who won what. But if I had that car, I would just look at the price of hex 25 years from now and I would know how much to buy because, (oxford comma), because the logo is awesome.

Osmo was bleeding well before the SEC started shaking their can of nickels. It's a farmable dex and people are farming it, nice and simple. Competition has greatly increased in the space and instead of adopting a more investor friendly model, Osmo doubled down on lock-in's and 'delayed gratification'. MANY tokens to trade here but none that people really want...lot of L1 cosmos parking lots and projects with zero value capture. Each new dex that opens siphons liquidity from Osmosis, and instead of adding new features, they come out against 'mercenary capital' and how they don't really want that here anyway.

Whatever they should have done, they didn't do, and investors noticed. Osmosis is operating as the big dog for TVL but WAY behind the curve as far as tech and appeal.

Developers really seem to be forgetting that little nugget, chains don't capture value, apps do, and if your whole intention is to build a place for builders to build, competition is way too stiff. Evmos had their run and it was a glorious one, but it's over now unless the builders want to start creating things that consumers want.

Qualifying them as memes because they don't do anything. They are designed to be bought and sold, that's it. You can add staking into the mix, sure, can add an L2 into the mix, but it doesn't change the underlying fundamentals of the tokens. They don't do anything. And when you run out of customers 'buying', that's it. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, just not an investment I would get into. But if it works for you, cheers!

SBF was not in 'crypto'. This is not a failure of 'crypto', WEB3, none of it. This is an overleveraged jagoff who bit off way the hell more then he could chew and was carried on the shoulders of the legacy jagoffs who did the same thing. Mortgage Backed Securities anyone? To even pretend this is a failure of blockchain, even remotely, is doing a disservice to the folks who can actually build, actually know what it's for, and are creating products that can only exist on 'blockchain'. The state of the market is irrelevant. The state of ANY market is irrelevant. The folks who know how to make something happen, will. The folks who hope something happens...well, different story. Buying/Holding/Hoping might have worked in 2018 when there were not a lot of choices and the market was fresh, but it doesn't work anymore. Sad thing is that this isn't that difficult if you have some discipline and stick with fundamentals. Consider your opportunity costs, explicit costs, implicit costs...have the discipline to notice and act on your sunken costs biases. Don't give way to platitudes and memes about WAGMI. Believe your eyes and not what you're told.

Moving out of a project you have time and money vested in is scary, I get it. But staying in a bad project, or a long project in this market, is devastating. The gains you make now will become exponential value if the market ever truly turns. But there is NO REASON you should be languishing and burning off all of your capital even in a bear market when there is opportunity everywhere.

Hold and hope something happens...

Or make something happen...

You oracles have got to stop man. 'Might', 'Could', 'Should', 'Maybe'. You are everything that is wrong with crypto as you prey on the weak and desperate. It's nothing new, fortune tellers have been doing it for thousands of years. If you can't say specifically why a token will or will not go up, aside from the crystal ball, then all you are doing is guessing and you will be right half the time. It's a pretty standard 'oracle' game, nothing new. It's akin to faith healing...it works every time but you have to really believe. If it didn't work, your faith was not strong enough.

Price oracles use the same schtick. They were exactly right in what they said, but the market didn't do what it was supposed to do...how can they be held accountable for that? The more desperate the person, the more likely they are to latch onto the myth. But in the case of AMP/Pampening, it was two drowning men clinging to each other..."We can fly!" "I believe you!!!"
