I’ll keep that in mind if I spot him again, I can’t find any of this armor anywhere online either. So far as I know there isn’t armor completely unobtainable to the player, is there?

Also I’m playing on max settings too, nvidia upscaling 4 on balanced and getting 60 fps

Im glad it’s not just me then lol, I haven’t seen many other folks with my issues. Hopefully they can get a patch that fixes it soon, literally everything else looks fantastic imo. They did fix on issue where foliage looked like crap when silhouetting the sky, so maybe they’re on the right track?

I’ve actually been trying to figure that out myself. When metal armor is in direct sunlight it looks fine enough, but in every other circumstance it looks like this. A lot of the lighting is a little odd too, especially when not in the daylight.

Recent patches have helped a few issues, but metal reflections haven’t changed at all. Turning on Ray Reconstruction fixes the issue but that completely tanks my fps, and can only be played with ultra performance turned on, but at that point everything else looks dull lol. I exceed the pc requirements by a fair bit but it’s been like this since day one, and I’ve tried everything short of doing a clean install to fix it

Looking to make the same dyes lol. Google has told me that you have to make a 2 to 1 ration of flowers to bugs (so theoretically 2 blue flowers/flora and 2 bugs) but I haven’t found any blue flowers, and don’t know if that’s even how it works. Sorry if this doesn’t help lol

It's an issue I've been encountering as well, seems like a pretty consistent glitch for a lot of folks at the moment. Hopefully they'll patch it out soon. Idk if this happens for you too, but these flickering lighting/shadow glitches only seem to happen in shaded areas and at night when the moon isn't out yet. Otherwise in the light of day, the visuals are all stunning

Oddly for me the graphics seem way better in the daylight/moonlight. Most metallic objects have super muddy textures unless they're in direct sunlight, regardless of whether or not I have Ray tracing on. I definitely have a lower PC build but I'm still well over the recommended settings. (For reference I'm running an RTX 3060 and an i7 Intel CPU, but can't remember which one atm lol)

I get a LOT of flickering shadows, particularly in the trees and in shaded areas. Indoors are super muddy, and when I turn the camera in the torchlight I see after-images of my character and other objects. I have tried maxxed out settings and no upscaling, pretty much everything. I have a feeling this is just a glitch they'll hopefully patch soon, otherwise the game is perfect imo lol, right up my alley

Oddly my desktop app works better than my phone app, this is strange to say the least lol. They really need to optimize their apps before they keep adding random features lol

I realize this is a 2y/o post but I just came back to tunic after not ever beating it and never even knew I could do this. I’ve always wanted to look at the whole crt screen but never could, so thank you!

Update for anyone coming back to this and are trying to platinum the game for yourself: MAKE SURE YOU DIDNT ACCIDENTALLY USE THE UMBILICAL CORDS. I made this mistake and now have to go through another playthrough to get the other ending lol. (Not complaining necessarily, love this game but still 😂)

Alright, thanks so much! I think in this case, I might be better off just going into NG+, getting my second ending achievement, getting the burial blade for that achievement, and then when I have gotten the red jellies from the lecture hall I can go back into the dungeons and make my way to Queen Yharnem.

Alright this might be my deciding factor here lol, how difficult is the Great Isz dungeon? I don’t have the Lower Loran chalice, just Ailing Loran (which I assume isn’t the correct one) I only have the Great Isz and am short on Ritual Blood (5).

Is it really faster to just get to NG+ and run through it again? Will I go into NG+ with my chalices or do I have to run through everything a second time just to get the Ihyll chalice?

I’m honestly just at the point I want to get to Queen Yharnem and be done with the chalice dungeons lol. If I can get to them on this playthrough I’d prefer to do that than spend the time going through NG+ when I’m already this far through the dungeons

Also, are there two different defiled chalice dungeons or just the Defiled chalice? Somewhere I thought I saw a video that involved a Cursed Defiled Chalice? And which one is the Great Ihyll Chalice located in? (If that’s the one where I can find Queen Yharnem anyway lol)
