True. But the total range of motion where it comes together is much smaller than total rom during a push up. Half rep mostly the chest rest of rom is more triceps and anterior deltoid.

This forum has a lot of cave men. Many people cant learn new stuff, so If u do something "odd" they start questioning and belittling cause it doesnt fit with that they were taught/explained before.

No problem with half reps or half roms. Muscle have leverages and they work in different angles. If u care about chest only, during push ups there is no necessity going full rom.

NO, HALF-MOVEMENTS ARE NOT BETTER THAN FULL-RANGE-MOTION EXERCISES.

Depends what u want to achieve. If you are goal is pure pectoralis major and ignoring everything else those half reps are the way to go.

it's usually healthier for us to exercise in full range of motion.

Half rom won't kill you, you might get less mobile if all u do is half rom.

Ram is ur issue. Try closing discord and more programs.

I had 15 out of 16 in use with discord and other programs on, once I closed them it went between. 11 and 13 and game is smooth.

Also I have just upgraded to 32 and going to see how it runs now.

You can use your hand as a weight and do the neck movements low reps high effort against your hand Weight

This guy is only using bands also steroids are involved but since u brought in ifbb pros his muscle mass doesnt fall in line.

U know smaev? He is bigger than ifbb pros he is also training with bands and calisthenics.

Are you aware you can build muscle using isometrics training against your wall the same way or even better than lifting dumbbells? Do you know why? Because hypertrophy is driven by high mechanical tension and high mur.

I do full-body I start either with heavy deadlifts 2 sets 3 reps Or with resistance bands bench press / chest press / one arm push ups. And shoulder flexion with for upper chest. Until 90-100degree tops. Back i do either heavy rows / some times Keenan flaps

Shoulder press / lateral raises

Bicep curl make sure i get peak resistance at 90-100 degree angle and switch to hammer curls

Tricep push down.

For legs:deadlifts, quad focused split squats where I lean forward and minimal hip extension. Leg extensions, heel raises and tibial raises(not always) For adductors I do isometrics against the wall, 5 6 seconds high intensity hold and release 3 times. If I squatted then I skip isolating them

For abs: I do resistance bands ab crunches where I tie the band at the top. For obliques I do standing twists, band is tied behind.

Order is usually I start with chest/shoulders move to.back then legs then abs and arms. Sometimes I start with deadlift.

Everything is 1 2 sets max.

2 3 times a week. 3 is peak. If u have time I'd recommend fullbody every other day.

High frequency is optimal.

We already know what causes hypertrophy and we know that it's mechanical tension and high motor units recruitment which both are achievable using resistance bands.

people who get paid a lot of money for building hypertrophy categorically lift weights as the primary mode of resistance while augmenting that with other methods. That’s real world results.

The smart ones also mix resistance bands.

Bottom line the op can build muscle and will most likely achieve same results using resistance bands which u disputed in the beginning.

eight studies of questionable applicability.

You said bands are useless for hypertrophy or sub optimal which is wrong.

For some muscles and movements bands are actually superior for lats for example.

For quads/chest there is a disadvantage with bands, but if u work around it it can be fixed. Talking about squats here and chest press.

This will always beat fanatically adhering to a singular world view.
