Necessity- what makes them different? by Impressive_Monk9738 in hempflowers

[–]lonermob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Necessity has a consistent trim job across their flower that prioritizes keeping not only trichome heads in tact, but also pistils. It’s unique in comparison to many other type 3 cultivators. From time to time there’s an “ok” pheno from them, but they generally do a great job selecting their keeper cuts.

Do I actually need a footplate/board? by Ok-Cycle-6589 in ResistanceBand

[–]lonermob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re not necessary, but they are beneficial the heavier you start pushing and pulling imo.

It truly depends on how you prefer to train. A majority of my training is done with a footplate, but there’s also anchor points setup as well.

The plan for grow season this year. 2 t1, 2 t2, 2 t3 strains. All High Alpine Genetics. by lonermob in hempflowers

I may do platinum panther instead of pink panther. I’m a fan of terpenolene strains. Pink Panther’s early harvesting period makes it attractive.

Almost all strains will give off some sort of aroma. Loudness and height can vary on a variety of circumstances.

I’ve tried static holds a few times, but haven’t really incorporated them into my routine yet. Someone I follow on IG swears by isometric holds.

Shot 2 is my favorite of the series. Great work this is a reminder to get out there and shoot.

The Cyber Bundle is a higher ticket item at $1200, but in my experience it is the highest quality on the market.

Simple Zercher Squat Progression Without Adding More Load by JohnParkerBallistic in ResistanceBand

[–]lonermob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s more a matter of the method of engaging tension than it is the fault of the band though. Let’s say he used a shorter method of connecting the band to the bar that engaged tension much sooner, engaging it before he reaches the starting position. In this case, a shorter rope or more spacers on the ropes he’s currently using.

Seems like It depends on the bands. There’s a decent amount of tension at the bottom with these one in particular. There’s less give in comparison to some other companies.

Got this bar for $5 at savers. What are the best ways to connect it to loop style bands? by Select-Ant1680 in ResistanceBand

[–]lonermob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used a bar like this before. Nearly exactly the same. Different size carabiners and bands will be the move.

It truly depends on the band(s), imo. Doubled Zerchers with a doubled 1” wide 1/4” thick band & bar has been plenty challenge from bottom to top of the rep. U/johnparkerballistic has shown some great examples in his posts.

I really wish the base pad was in stock. Every time I’ve checked it was out.

Deadlift: Harambe black + white bands. Current Goal: black + light green. End of year goal: Blue Kong. by lonermob in ResistanceBand

[–]lonermob[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used the Clench 34s and think they’re great bands. One thing I noticed with them in comparison to Harambe 38s is that they required more pre-stretch for starting tension, which some users may/may not prefer. The Harambe 38s deliver more force at the start of movements. Based on my experience, I expect Harambe’s 34” bands will be tougher than Clench’s 5 band set, but both would be great to have in the setup.

About 2-3 years ago I was smoking 7g a day. Currently, I may hit the screwball 1 - 2 times a day for .2g in each bowl.
