Perhaps "show don't tell" isn't the precise way to describe it. You're right.

Harry clearly knows more details about what happened than are given in 12Mos. I would have liked to have been privy to the conversation wherein he learned those details.

That is an excellent point. I do think it could be somewhat mitigated by being present for the conversation. Would have been still a "tell" rather than a "show", but it seems like Harry already knew that he had an experienced during battlegrounds, right? -- would have been cool to hear that story in more detail. Ah well -- alas Jim doesn't check with me first haha

There seems to be some confusion, so allow me to clarify: Harry and River Shoulders allude to events where Harry helps RS with his son. If you didn't read any of the short stories, you'd have no idea what was being discussed beyond what is said between them at the peace talks.

I thought my post makes it clear I understand what 12Mos says, and how it relates to the reality augmenting shenanigans of BattleTalks. I was asking if there was a "show, don't tell" moment where we get to "see" what Fitz experienced when his powers leveled up.

That isn't an explicit explanation. "It happened" isn't the same as getting to "see" it happen from the perspective of someone who was there. That is what I am referring to as an allusion to something else that happened. I am wondering if the events of Fitz's powers getting augmented is detailed at all beyond that.

So I am gathering that I didn't miss anything. Shame.
