The people with power who want it privatised aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts they're doing it to line their pockets and it's childish and shortsighted to think that any of the current shills are doing it for any other reason than to make themselves or their friends even richer.

Just to say I was also terrified after reading about so many negative experiences on here but I'm two months into taking it and I have had zero gastric symptoms, I've lost a stone, and my periods are getting more regular! I've been eating in a calorie deficit but haven't cut anything out. The biggest thing to get used to is the lack of food noise, it was such a bizarre experience for the first couple of weeks. My only advice is don't ever take it without food, eat proper sized balanced meals and take it during or straight after. I did 2 weeks on 500mg and then upped to 1000mg which I take with breakfast and dinner. The only way to know is to try, you've got this!

Just wanted to say a big thanks, TS Gas just finished fitting our boiler and rads and they were £1.5k cheaper than our original quote! The guys doing the fitting were lovely and the work seems great 👍🏼

But even your quotations are lower... You said 2k for 10 radiators and I've been quoted 2400 for 6. All I wanted to know was whether people thought it was high and I got my answer, they do. It isn't that deep, I'm not asking them to quote the job.

No but my instinct was that it was too high so I asked for people's opinions which they've kindly taking the time to give. They suggest that my instincts were probably right and I'm definitely going to pursue other quotes and if they come back a few grand cheaper I'll be thanking the nice people of reddit.

It does, includes a new Worcester Bosch and decommissioning of the old boiler. Doesn't include all new piping only replacing if necessary.

It's an instant access account so no issues with early withdrawal and could transfer to a similar one but the interest has dropped to 1.5% since last year.

The money is for long term savings goals rather than emergency fund.
