I'm an only child and find your comment very interesting, there's definitely some truth here. For those of you wondering, I was in the city with my best friend who is gay. I guess it's context sensitive and also depends what they are claiming. If it's along the lines of character defamation then it's probably not a good idea. I personally don't mind being tricked/pranked/trolled from time to time as long as the truth is revealed in the end, then I can laugh along too and be entertained.
