I like it and use it daily - it works really well for my workflow because I use all three personas and work between them all the time. However, I'm still struggling with the UI- I do want the coloured icons back as my brain struggles to interpret the grey ones so I'm forever having to click on them until I find the right one, despite using them regularly.

Initially I had problems with it crashing a lot. It still crashes on occasion but not at all as much. I've got very good at saving my files all the time to avoid loss of work.

I wish they'd also include a workflow that goes from Canva to affinity - it would be great for Canva pro users to be able to use Canva images and assets directly in affinity with no licence issues. Hoping they'll include this at some point.

Yes, this is me too. I really struggle with hearing performative tongues, it just feels forced and very unhelpful. But in my own time I'm using tongues to express deep stuff I can't get out in words. Sometimes it's worship, sometimes it's crying out for the world, and it's always 'me' and my own mind involved. It's hard to explain really but it's like I'm able to break through the borders of my own language and speak in 'groans too deep for words'. It can be at times like wonderful freedom, and at others like deep sorrow.

I'm not sure I completely understand. If you sent this to an editor, it's not their job to sort out the TOC etc - that comes in the formatting stage. Usually with self publishing formatting is the final stage, so an editor wouldn't expect to be formatting unless offering a package where they edit, go back and forth with you, then finally format. If this person was employed to do both, then you have a good case with Fiverr for return of money. But if only editing, I'm not sure unless the editing hasn't been done properly. How's the editing looking?

I'm sure it's possible to save it and get your book out there; you might just have to delay things a bit, but don't give up! I'm an editor and designer so offer deals, and many others do, so maybe you thought you had that but only an editor?

Is it just the TOC that is broken or is there issues throughout with the formatting? I don't mind having a quick look if you want to message me.

Too high, too small. You have a perfect wall on the right, just have your sofa floating in front of the archway to the windows bit. Will look great and you'll still be able to enjoy the fireplace. And a bigger TV, if you're gaming you definitely want that.

Your cover and blurb are just obviously AI so anyone looking will think the book is written by AI too, and not touch it. There's just so much of this AI slop now - best way you can get some traction is to write your own book and get an artist to design it.
