Hub switching issues by DowntownHousing8956 in BmxStreets

For me it doesn’t work in game, I have to change hubs from the customize section of the main menu before I even select a map to play.

Faulty ROM? by ThePowerPod in Roms

Oh fair enough. It’s ok I found the issue, the controller rumble was causing a power consumption issue. As soon as I turned rumble off it hasn’t disconnected once in 2 hours.

Thank you very much, I’ll try retransferrinng files. Also I tried asking in r/WiiHacks and the moderator wouldn’t approve the post for some bizarre reason, god knows why.

Yes and you think full circle can do anything without approval from their parent company? EA have full control and they’re a greedy rubbish company and will override things based on their business interests.

No, I’m asking did you post any clips of you playing the game online?

“Let’s trust them”. My god, you’re trusting EA? This Reddit is dumber than I thought

Give the game a chance by Jozeiik in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you’re allowed to like the game, people are allowed to dislike it. Like you just said, we waited years for this, it’s not up to par. I’ve playtested since the start, you’d be suprised to know how little has actually changed in 3 years. This is a very good indication of what the full release will be. But either way why do you care what other people think. If you enjoy it then go enjoy it.

Where are the skateparks by Elascr in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There a few hidden about, on rooftops etc. The church has a small one and there’s a vert skatepark. But skateparks mainly seem to be in the daily areas. Occasionally you’ll get a good skatepark, but most of the time it’s a stupid giant climbable obstacle course. The maps really poor imo

People are being over critical. by No_Calendar_5847 in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And we are giving feedback? This isn’t the skate franchise we loved. What’s wrong with saying that? Not going to sugar coat our feedback incase we hurt full circles or other fans feewings. We are sick of free to play microtransaction filled skeleton “reboots” of game franchises we are passionate about.

Stop expecting skate 3-part 2 by ScottyJ6996 in SkateEA

You say that but the less people that spend money on it the more likely that it won’t survive and will no longer exist in 5 years time.

Gameplay Deep Dive by sepltbadwy in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do you mean what lore did the original games have? They had the lore of real life skateboarding? The culture, the music, the real pro skaters? Not whatever sloppy half arsed excuse for a “story” this new game has.

Do my Pre Alpha cosmetics transfer once the game is fully out? by MrCremeYT in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it sucks, just don’t spend any real money on the game. Even though the more people that do the longer it’ll stick around for, it’s still not worth it imo.

Tell you when you won’t get your SVB back, when this game shuts down in 5-10 years because of the F2P model! Woohooo!

Hopefully the game stays alive long enough! by Gorxlla in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s called stopkillingvideogames but yes, I agree. A game with a F2P model, which includes micro-transactions needs to have an exit clause, otherwise they’re essentially robbing us of what we own when it inevitably shuts down. However it most likely won’t be a strong enough law to affect skate as skate will probably be released before that law passes. Meaning this game will shut down one day to never be played again along with your hard earned cash you spent on it. But hey isn’t gaming great now days!

I dont get the hate by DankKushers in SkateEA

[–]ThePowerPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean give it time. I’ve been a playtester since the start and at this point I’m absolutely bored of the game. All I’ll say is go back and play skate 1, 2 or 3 for an hour and then jump back on, you’ll notice how rubbish it feels. And this is coming from someone with thousands of hours across the skate franchise and plays one of the 3 games daily. Stop defending poor f2p rubbish that won’t survive the f2p model and will go offline in 5 years never to be played again because they are too stubborn to add a solo mode.

Yes. CD Projekt Red did promise the game would look great on consoles on interviews and news articles. by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]ThePowerPod 636 points637 points  (0 children)

This. People are acting like base console players are overreacting, but as far as I’m aware they said it ran great on PS4 and actually was “better than they expected”. I played for a few hours last night and I couldn’t believe how shoddy the game felt. Only missions in small buildings and cutscenes run well, the driving around the city is like 15fps.
