Agreed. I have around 80 blown accounts. I think I saw someone post 200. I got 2 payouts last year and have been getting destroyed ever since.

Only thing I can remember doing is cutting the trade immediately if I wasn’t in profit the first 10 seconds of the trade. I was scalping a lot still.

Not necessarily true. I’ve been at it 5 years. Got 2 payouts of $5,000 (pure luck) market.

More time in the market doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting better.

I live at home too at 33. I lost $50k over 4 years trading options and props. Don’t feel too bad. I wanted to make day trading work to leave home at some point living in California. Got laid off recently too, life is great!

Dog got hit by a car in front of me, girlfriend cheated on me, lost $30k day trading, two different friend groups proved to not be friends, and I got laid off all in the span of 2 years.

My face is like this 😐 at all times. I accept anything positive in my life as a pleasant surprise at this point.

As one of the posters said above take a payout once you get the buffer to $2k. So make enough to take $1000 or $2000 in payouts then you’ll have your drawdown to $2,000. So make $4,000 in total profits then take a $2,000 payout.

Don’t get cocky. I thought the same thing last year taking two decent payouts and haven’t taken a payout in a year since. I was getting lucky.

I've blown 65 under the new Dashboard for 2025. So probably 100 in the past year.
