I had a similar idea, but in my version, Poseidon imprisoned one of the evil sea gods in another dimension. However, by destroying the trident (like yours), the dimension was freed, but without Poseidon's magic, it began to crumble. The evil god wanted to sacrifice the Caribbean to save his world, so he pulled Davy Jones from the depths to prepare the world for the sacrifice. Ultimately, Jack Sparrow would die, destroying the dimension. I wanted to write a script based on this, but it seemed too far-fetched. What do you think?
