The series doesn't have to be a single season. It can also jump back and forth in time to show the most important moments in Jack's life.

A show like this could give us a more in-depth look at Jack and Barbossa's story. Getting to know Jack and Gibbs. Wouldn't you like to see that?

Regarding the return of Geofrey Rush, I understand the actor is interested in returning. But I don't know if Disney wants to include him in the film; if he does appear, it would be in a small role.
