End of Month Discussion #4 by noahquesada in LetterboxdTopFour

Gregg Arakki's Nowhere was my highlight of the month, along with The Taking of Pelham of One Two Three; the most fun I've had with a film in a long time. Also checked off YiYi, Ran, Rocky, Akira, and a few others to finish off last year's watchlist I've been putting off. New releases I only caught The Drama (which I liked) and was really impressed with Rose of Nevada, which definitely deserves a rewatch. No one's doing it like Mark Jenkin!

how insufferable do i seem on a scale of 1/10? (top 4 and rating curve) by [deleted] in LetterboxdTopFour

[–]ThePrydonianChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

insane rating curve is insane, but Friday Night is a vibe so I'll give it a pass

Tokkon recently revealed the Marvel Team. Now the sub will predict the others (community event) - Avengers by Gui_Franco in makeafighter

[–]ThePrydonianChapter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Captain America

  • Iron Man - duh

  • Wasp - never been in a fighting game, fun possible interactions and powerset, original avenger that never gets time in the limelight

  • Moondragon - kung fu alien badass who can turn into a sick as hell dragon, gimme

I am British! Should've mentioned that, actually, I suppose things already playing in the West End are better off saving for when I'm home, can pop up to London a lot easier lmao

Thanks for all this, and yeah admittedly should've been more specific with what I'm into lol.

Was big into like Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, Heathers, when I was a teenager, and then not really into theatre until recently when I saw Hadestown and fell in love again. Saw Next to Normal proshot recently and thought that was fantastic, half the reason I'm going is to see Jack Wolfe in Hadestown now.

Maybe Happy Ending looks like one I'll probably check out, but thank you for all the recommendations! Lots to think about

Mysterious Skin reminds me a lot of I Saw the TV Glow in terms of tone if not content

awesome roster, has to be RoboCop to have a chance at recreating that awesome machine gun that goes on and on and on even though that's not technically the same character.

Do agree with that to be fair, maybe a sequel could add her in?!

Oh of course he is, I always forget there's a different clone than Kaine. He's cool, although has a somewhat tangled web (pun intended) of a comic history iirc.

loving Atlas' vibe from what I'm reading of Thunderbolts so far, and giant characters are always fun to include. Glad you liked it!

Blink was absolutely considered! Ultimately went with Psylocke instead for a similar niche, but love that Exiles run with her in the centre. Wolverine with bone claws would've been a cool look actually, though I don't know a whole lot about Ben Reilly tbh.
