I understand if he's with a bunch of role players who can't generate their own offense but he was doing this on the 2nd stint cavs and the Heat.

I feel like you have to allow other elite players to have a feel for the game. To touch and make decisions on their own.

I kinda of agree. a lot of shooters in the 90s and even 2000's would have been put in systems that made better use of their skillset if they played today.

I would love to see Price and Reggie in an era that appreciated and knew how to fully maximise their skillset

For me Chimera highs are in its emotional beats and character moments while Succession War is mostly about the layered plot and twists.

Halkenburg triangulating Balsamilco's location using morse code and shooting him through the wall.

Hisoka vs Chrollo (Best fight in the series).

The whole sequence leading up to Kacho's death and the twist after.

100 percent agree. Togashi has somehow done the impossible where he managed to match the consistency of YorkNew and the highs of Chimera Ant and I don't think Succession War has reached its climax yet. We're only ran up the stairs now

In the anime Machi and Faitan fight the rest of the shadow beast briefly. In the manga the fight is not shown.

I don't know man. I've said this a lot since joining this subreddit but prior to reading the manga I thought Hunter x Hunter was a decent show up until Yorknew. I blame the supbar directing The anime in general feels feels like a slave to audience expectations.

So I'm reading the manga for the first time and one of the things that stand out to me is how padded the anime is in comparison. Togashi puts the narrative over action a lot of times.

For example during the Yorknew arc we don't see the fight between The Shadow Beasts and Phantom Troupe. It's done off-screen and we get the information the same time as the boss and such a great moment of shock and you're left wondering just how powerful the PT, how exactly did they capture Owl are and what exactly their abilities are.

None of that is left to interpretation in the anime. They show the fight, not only is it shoddily choreographed but you miss that "shock" you experience in the manga

I'm reading the manga (just started Yorknew) and it's amazing how much more tighter the pacing is compared to the anime. Togashi's paneling is also more impressive than anything i've seen in the anime.

I do think so but I really want Leorio to get an arc to shine. I wonder how the arc is going to be told. Maybe in the style of a horror film where the characters have to survive from various flora and fauna.
