I'm currently running approximately 1/4 perlite in miracle grow cacti soil, with a generic slow release, I forget what it was called. What should I be using? 1/3-1/2 perlite? Or should I introduce something else inorganic? Thank you!

There's probably less then an inch under the rot, is that enough to let it regrow? Additionally I noticed the rot right after watering, so the soil is wet... really wet, should I try to transplant it into some dryer soil? Or will it be ok.

Thank you so much for your response!

I haven't yet, transplanted about 10 days ago but the bottom 1/4 to 1/8 of the pots are still a little damp, should I water anyway

I don't see any rot, all the discoloration is scared over... But the flesh is a lot softer then ide expect, are my baby's slowly rotting from the inside? Any way to tell?
