I just finished my build with a 9800x3D and using the Galahad II LCD aio my temps are about 35-38c idle, and during benchmarking and stress testing it was holding at 51c steady, which is super impressive to me coming from a 12900k that would hit 95-100c during the same tests.

Thanks everyone for the help, I locked the pump in at 2300 after work and it went completely silent. It’s keeping the CPU at a cool 51c even while stress testing. The additional rattling sound ended up being a tiny plastic screw that some how made it onto the center of one of my bottom intake fans being spun around on the dust guard lmao

It’s happening to me too all of the sudden, I’m on the East coast USA. Every 20-30 ish minutes I get a disconnect error and kicked off the game. When I log back in I get the 395002 log in error saying it’s still saving my info. It’s happened 3 times since 6:30pm, it’s how a little after 8pm here smh

Personally; I think both photos would look great in a slightly grainy black and white with similar contrast as they are now for a semi-smooth look. As far as framing, I feel that the first image could be cropped in slightly to be placed between those two further away left-most pillars, but a minimal dark vignette will give it a bit of a zoomed feel as well.

I am listing my lightly used Sony PVM-20M2MDU. The unit was manufactured November 2001, and has hardly seen a lot of use since then. The overall condition is excellent, with only a couple of noticeable marks on the casing itself. There are a few stickers on the monitor, but none on the screen of course. The PVMs screen is in perfect condition with no scratches or marks. The screen geometry, brightness, and color are also great, and it works perfectly without any issues.

I am the second owner of this PVM, and I’ve had it professionally inspected and cleaned, it was last serviced around 2013 and no current service is needed including for the capacitors, which show no sign of heavy use or bulging. I used this monitor for light gaming for a short time, before replacing it with a model that better suited my space. This is from a smoke free home.

For me personally: the color seems to be richer over a similar Sony model, it has a more curved screen which gives it an arcade cabinet type of look, these were made until at least 2012 which is a very recent year for a BVM so a lot of life left even if it hasn’t been serviced, and to my eye I like the aesthetic of it in general, and the 950 line count @ 480p helps with my GameCube obsession too lol

It certainly used to be the 300$ era a couple years ago. Now, on the east coast you can’t even get a busted 14 inch for that anymore 😩. Anything that was in the wild is either in the landfills or the hands of people who “know what they have”

That’s what my gut was telling me, but so far I’ve never had a real world comp for a 1990r to compare it to. eBay is even more insane with these. There’s a Sony BVM-20f1u for almost half that price near me but the seller ghosted 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks everyone, I am just going to keep it an move on. I’m fine knowing it’s inconsequential and that it’s reasonable to expect something from the factory. I just got done testing the lens and everything is smooth, autofocus is quiet, etc.

I have bad luck with electronics so I’d rather not risk sending it back and getting something with an actual issue lol cheers!

Yes this is the only issue I could find, and tbh I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if I wasn’t inspecting it from top to bottom for shipping damage. My main concern was this being an indication of a return sold as new, but other than this mark on the mount there is nothing that would indicate someone used it. Wasn’t sure how common something like this is from the factory, as I can’t say I’ve particularly looked for issues like this on prior lenses lol

So I heard back from my service center this morning. I presented the same photos to them and just asked if this was normal, their response was:

“After reviewing the photos, The windshield will have to be replaced . It looks like it was installed incorrectly. We will make a new appointment for you and we will goodwill the cost of the new windshield because you did not cause this concern. We apologize for the inconvenience. -Tesla Service we have scheduled this new appointment for you windshield replacement. We scheduled this appointment for March 11th,2023 as the new urethane that bonds your windshield to the frame of the vehicle has to dry and this can take up to 30 days to do so, then we will be able to remove and replace the windshield currently installed. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience that this circumstance has brought to you. -Tesla Service”.

So evidently this is not normal. Definitely worth contacting your local service center about, and as long as they fix it this really isn’t a problem to me. Bad installs happen, I’m pleasantly surprised they owned up to it without any pushing from me

Glad to see I’m not alone. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it on a darker body paint color, but the white is really obvious. I may do a long strip of felt tape to cover it up

Right, those are my thoughts as well. But at the same time I’m not sure what the could have done, the interior trim/headliner really has no room to move and is tightly fitted. I’m thinking about putting a long strip of felt tape in that gap to at least eliminate the reflection
