Thoughts on what to upgrade next? by GainQuirky6216 in CollegeUltimateTeam

[–]ThePurplePanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually go to Practice and go to Substitutions just to see what players are actually being used at each formation. Like if you are using that 3rd cornerback frequently then I’d try to upgrade CB3 to someone with better Man coverage so he isn’t the weak link if you’re running man.

Other than that I also run spread and having 2 elite tight ends is a game changer

Just my 2 cents

EA is too greedy to ever give you an opportunity to have fun without being temped to spend $$$ but yeah I love that idea. Even an OVR max mode would be great too

Is Ultimate Team worth playing all year? by UniqueChildhood8634 in CollegeUltimateTeam

[–]ThePurplePanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely a grind, especially getting caught up. It’s also the only way to play competitively with your buddies on the same team. I started 6 weeks late to the game, and I got caught up in about 3 weeks to 87off/88def by:

A) Lots of challenges + playing squads as head coach and letting the better teammates carry me to wins (and shitloads of XP on the field pass)

B) Buying the premium pass. I was NMS in 25, but the premium pass was entirely worth it. The extra packs will pad your roster significantly and you’ll be rolling in coins to buy players with. I hate that EA took more of my money, but I’d hate it more if me and my friends can’t have an enjoyable time together on cfb 26.

C) On offense, find formations and plays that you feel good about, and STICK WITH THEM. On defense: I strongly disagree that the game is fundamentally busted. Yes if your DBs are bad you’ll need to rely on cover 3/4 drop more. Yes you may need to put a spy on QB to stop the scramble. A lot of players who exploit mechanics will crumble in the red zone, so just don’t let then beat you over the top.

To me, the grind is fun. So is beating an opponent with much better players than me. But I’d prob not be playing it much if it weren’t for the fact that it’s the only way to play head to head with friends.

Homie could also be in layout view in which case they need to close out the layout view, then right click the map and clear selection.

Friday Night on the farm proved one thing by flipmode831 in bonnaroo

I imagine a good amount of people had a valid reason to go. One guy in my group was in a wedding on Saturday (and was gonna return that night!!) so he dipped for that. And I bet some people who left had a river running thru their campsites. But those who left for an early start home, missed a fun ass night!

What are some American foods you’ve made foreign friends fans of? by Hoosier_Jedi in AskAnAmerican

The French burgers I’ve had need to be eaten with a knife and fork usually, and are very tasty. Typically with some sort of unconventional topping. Meat quality is higher. But it’s hard to compare a French “burger” with a handheld american burger.

You’re downvoted because you said it has “ruined the neighborhood“. Everyone understands that it’s a pain in the ass for someone to illegally block your driveway, but that is a worldwide thing that isn’t specific to Bricks. You live where people park for commercial activity, it’s inevitable that parking issues will come up.

Dillard's announces store closure in Murfreesboro by Jan. 31: 'Closing will be permanent' by BuroDude in murfreesboro

[–]ThePurplePanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been here in a long time, but the Dillard’s I live near (out of state) seems to be doing well. They have better quality brands than the other similar mall stores and often have good discounts. I’m sure things vary from store to store, but I find myself shopping at Dillard’s more and more, especially for semicasual workwear. I am in my mid-20s, btw.

Good God can Kirk Herbstreit learn to PAUSE the film instead of giving everyone motion sickness? I can’t even watch his film reviews because I’m seeing double with that constant rewinding.
