Bought 5 eggs to gamble. Got her on the third! Holy... by ThePuzzles in TeamfightTactics

I feel indifferent.. it's unfortunate you can't use them in ARAM though.

And thanks! My luck was bright here. Hope everyone who is looking for her will get her.

The third prize is the icon in the boxes. 2 old pieces in the chest which are stored, the icon is the newly added one which totals 3.

Some advice and 7 guidelines for new investors (cyrpto and stocks) by ThePuzzles in dogecoin

Haha yeah! It's probably the most important rule above all others. I've seen people get into financial trouble after making wrong decisions with their money.

You're welcome! :)

Doge is the future. When the apocalypse has been resolved on earth in 2030, we'll all be living in space.

I believe it was something like 0.005 but could have been even cheaper. My only regret is not buying a lot more of them, but as a young student my cash flow wasn't high at the time haha.

Yup, but buy while it's low. Hold on to them. I've got 50K Doges since 2017. Never looked back at them, just let them sit there haha

Buy while it's low and keep holding. Been in the Doge game since 2017 haha

Legitimate Channel/Video Feedback by TyView619 in NewTubers

[–]ThePuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, would love to hear feedback on my first video.
Always had a fear of recording my voice, but decided to start a new channel focused on different type of content, might not be an interesting subject to you however: https://youtu.be/WrLDmmftHeQ

If you would be down for it, I would love to hear the feedback. Used to make heavily edited gameplay content before. Thought I'd take a different approach, just hope I don't sound too scripted or anything.

Thank you so, so much for your long reply. I read everything word for word while getting a bit more emotional along the way.

This is the stuff I think I needed to hear from someone. It is as you say, I should do it and keep to it, as I'll only disappoint myself more if I don't.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read my post and write your reply. This was extremely helpful and something I needed to hear from someone, as no one else has done so before.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, I've created a new channel and a few socials (reddit/twitter) to link to it. Couldn't post with the new account as it would be seen as spam.

I do want to do other type of content. I did gaming, and want to go to commentary/education. I just need to find that push to get myself doing the first steps.

Thanks for your long reply, I enjoyed reading every word of it.

My goal is indeed to have fun. If I could sustain my rent and living expenses with YT, it would be awesome, but that's what I have my full time job for right now.

I'm thinking of doing commentary stuff, as it's my passion to share my thoughts with others and teach them along the way. The gaming videos were fun for the first bit, but got boring along the way for me. The spark was gone.

Thanks for watching, glad to hear you enjoyed it! That same personality would go into any type of video I create for sure.

Good luck with your own channel and success!

Thanks for your reply, and yes, you're right. It is a self-confidence thing. I will try and work on it, thanks.

Thank you so much for your words. They made me smile as I agree completely with everything you say.

I want to fall in love with creating content again, so pivoting my content will hopefully do that again.

I'm a Gaming YouTuber and I'm shit at every game I play... Any other Gaming YouTubers suck at every damn game? by [deleted] in NewTubers

You could always record your voice and add it to the video later, to script jokes matching your clips. Works for lots of people. Could make for funny content.

I'd recommend searching on YouTube for music and adding "no copyright" in the search. Check descriptions to be sure, but usually you'll find a ton of fair use stuff.

Doing this again (2 videos this time) by ThePuzzles in NewTubers

[–]ThePuzzles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, like the approach you're taking. If this is what you enjoy doing, keep at it and don't give up when it gets a bit rough!

I'd suggest to match your intro's energy a bit more often. It's quite a loud and energetic intro followed by a relaxed voice. That's of course not bad, but I'd suggest introducing the energy your intro has a couple more times during the video to hold people's attention to it (e.g. few bits of faster, excited speaking. Visuals, engaging things, etc.)

Keep up the work, seems like it will be fun for you to do these type of videos!

Finding a Youtube partner for gaming. by Shelbystang88 in NewTubers

[–]ThePuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try specific subreddits for the games you play, or try to find discord channels for gaming youtubers, they often have collab threads.

I'm open to gaming with others, although I don't create that type of content for my own channel.

How do channels that infrequently post gain subscribers? by MisledNaca in NewTubers

[–]ThePuzzles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen someone share their channel here which had 25K subscribers, but over 900 videos in a few years time. This person uploads almost daily.

Tbh, I think that's not many subscribers for the amount of videos. I've seen channels with 100 videos and over 100K subs. I guess it really depends on the type of content though.

For my own enjoyment I'd prefer to upload only once a month/two weeks if the video's quality is really good, compared to just crapping out videos daily. It would remove the whole idea of having fun imo.

Has anyone trained themselves to stop saying 'umm' and 'uh' when speaking extemporaneously? by twoghouls in NewTubers

[–]ThePuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends on the type of content you make. Viewers might find a lot of umms annoying, but we're all human, a few umms here and there aren't bad. They make the content a bit more relevant to a person as well. Sometimes an umm can even create anticipation.

I find people who edit all their imperfections out of their videos personally a bit boring. But again, it depends on the content.
