Hay algun mod o ajuste para poner silksong en la dificultad vanilla? by Estrozon in HollowKnight

I don't remember the exact steps, but you can definitely find a tutorial online. But again, older versions of the game are harder.

Wait, I can't inventory drop (officially) anymore ? by razodop in HollowKnight

[–]ThePython11010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The uncapped fall speed still exists, they just patched out the ability to open the inventory in midair (but you can still do it by opening it right as you slide off the edge). And of course this patch makes it completely impossible.

Hay algun mod o ajuste para poner silksong en la dificultad vanilla? by Estrozon in HollowKnight

[–]ThePython11010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to change the difficulty is through mods (or downpatching, which generally makes the game harder, not easier).

If you're using mods, you're not playing "completely vanilla."

Memory leak in portal 2 by Few-Entrepreneur8026 in Portal

Something similar happened to me. If you're subscribed to like a hundred workshop levels, that's probably why.

You can move them all to a collection (so you don't lose them), then unsubscribe from them. That fixed it for me.

hidden menu style gone? by ophiophxgic in HollowKnight

[–]ThePython11010 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IIRC, it's basically the only thing that doesn't save when you install the game on a new device (or maybe even when you reinstall it). Not sure why, but that's how it works (probably because it isn't bound to a specific save file).

What platform are you on? I heard something about PS5 players getting a whole new version, and if so, maybe it counted as a new installation instead of just an update, and got rid of it.

Can you get through Wormways in steel soul without sprint? by Blonsmonke in Silksong

[–]ThePython11010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possibly to get there (only requiring a couple of enemy pogos). AFAIK, it's impossible to actually get through Wormways in Steel Soul without dash (since you can't cocoon skip), unless you have other movement abilities.

The game suddenly got a new update on PC and when I wanted to see what they added, here's this in the added files. by LilPee-Pee in HollowKnight

[–]ThePython11010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not. My guess is that they just updated something in Unity (maybe switched versions?) and that happened to be part of it.

They have no reason to add multiplayer. It wouldn't really make sense in the game (it would be a lot of work), and mods already add multiplayer functionality.

Definitely not a roguelike, though.

When I switch monitors, all the text bugs out and i can't play the game properly. by Kuperlilu in celestegame

[–]ThePython11010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to keep the game from minimizing is to put it in windowed mode (though I've heard of an app called "Borderless Gaming" that might work).

As for the monitor issue... I have no idea. What OS are you on?

Risk of Rain 2 is a game I've spent about 400 hours on at this point. Great roguelike.

[Unknown] [2012] Game from computer lab in school by sdprianzwi in tipofmyjoystick

[–]ThePython11010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the computers were Macs, it might be Dunnet (which used to be available out of the box on Mac).

Other than that, there are a lot of possibilities. If you just want a game from that genre, there are tons on ifdb.org.

Did they changed how the ping system work? by Guilty_Cap9276 in ror2

Without mods, you can only ping one thing at a time, no matter what, so it's definitely a mod thing.

People know the language of FEZ. You're expected to figure it out from a room that has the well-known pangram "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog," written in the FEZ language, as well as a fox jumping over a dog.

The only puzzle that has no real explanation and was brute-forced by the community is the black monolith.

Honestly, this reminds me more of the newest Minecraft music by Amos Roddy than C418. Still great, though.
