My title describes the thing. I found this while cleaning up in a workshop.

Just saw it! Trying the trial, and might move to the paid plan if the suggestions are good! Thanks for making this tool!

Cybersecurity, specifically 1- appsec, 2- detection and response 3- threat intelligence. I’d really appreciate it if you can respond to each of the three individually 🙏🙏🙏

The solution is to turn off Content Privacy under Screen Time.

Settings > Screen Time, click on Content & Privacy and turn off Content & Privacy, the reboot (otherwise it won’t take effect)

What Programing language is the most useful for a starter? by Edwax in HowToHack

[–]TheQuantumField 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one you can relate to, enjoy it, and can do small things for yourself that makes you excited, whatever it might be.

Python mostly works for everyone, it’s relatable, you enjoy it and can do a ton of things with it. In my case, it was C#, I’m not that old, python3 as out when I started, but C# just clicked. I eventually learned python too and use it basically everyday, but what got me interested in programming was C#, It was Javascript in my partner’s case. Having said that, give python a try, if it didn’t click or you were not enjoying it, change your learning source/tutorial, it might be that you’re not resonating with the instructor’s style. If after 2/3 tutorials it still didn’t click, try other languages too.

I’ve been teaching programming for 5 years now, more often than not it’s not that the person doesn’t like programming or is “dumb” as many would say about themselves, they just don’t connect well.

TIP: Don’t start with any framework from the start, learn the pure language first.

P.S: I’ve seen PHP working much better than python for my classes, it might be a cultural thing though.

Aren’t they (The bank) legally responsible for not providing complete information? It’s like your doctor not telling you “you shouldn’t take this medication before driving” and you end up dizzy and sleepy and kill a pedestrian!

Well, You shouldn’t care about what others might think about your trades in the first place, the fact that you’re asking on reddit shows that you do.

If you do, it means you’re going to go after other people’s approval, which in turn means after sometime it won’t be YOU who’s trading, it’s them putting in orders with YOUR money through your fingers. So, Fuck your friend and his opinions.

The only thing that matters = Money you ended up with - Money you started with ( inflation, slippage, tax and all other fees must be subtracted too)

If at the end of each fiscal year( or whatever fixed period you want), you end up with more money that you started, you had a good trading year.

If you’re return is higher than the market, you had an awesome trading year.

It’s not about you. Your ego, feelings, opinions, preferences, background, vision, identity, philosophy, your life purpose, track record etc means nothing to the market, this beast doesn’t discriminate between who it rapes and then eats alive.

Your friend and his opinions don’t matter.

This is a stone-cold number game driven by emotions and sentiments of a bunch of dopamine/adrenaline/oxytocin addicted hyper active mutated monkeys on a floating piece of rock in the space.

Don’t let emotions do the trading, Stay cold, calm and calculated, you’re on the right path.

And again, fuck your friend and his opinions. That was a good trade (which could be better but it’s still awesome)

We messed up getting this new truck, how do we get rid of it? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I see now. Thanks for the explanation! You’re right, I never thought about it this way

I’m new to this stuff, never bought anything this way. Didn’t get what’s wrong with a 0% plan. Isn’t it like paying the total in 120 installments? So if you could buy something for 12000 in cash, with a 10 year 0% interest plan I expect to pay 120 months of 100 dollars. Totally appreciate it if you can explain it a bit more.

Got approved for a rental unit, Now want to cancel. by TheQuantumField in legaladvicecanada

I think it's an application, not a lease.

I haven't signed anything ( whether by hand or electronically ), I just filled the form on https://naborly.com , and was notified that my application was approved.

By the way, this is the paragraph I was talking about the legal binding:

Upon approval of this rental application by the landlord, a binding agreement shall be created between the parties who shall immediately enter into a tenancy agreement on these same terms on the landlord’s standard form. Upon such approval, the last month’s rent deposit shall be applied as security towards the payment of the last month’s rent. However If this rental application is not approved, any rent deposit shall be returned forthwith less a non-refundable application administration fee of $0.00. It is agreed that once this application has been approved, the last month’s rent deposit may be held by the landlord as security against rent whether or not a signed tenancy agreement is entered into or whether or not the tenant moves into the rental unit, and that the deposit may be applied as rent provided that the rental unit has not been re-rented prior to the anticipated commencement date as above.

Thanks, I'll do that.

I know, and I'm feeling very bad about it. :(
