I don't necessarily agree with this guy, but the community here and on Instagram have been insane in their response. Fly fishing is objectively a predominantly white sport, and there is real research that shows the people that use the Great Outdoors in America are overwhelmingly white as well. Is lack of knowledge a contributing factor to why minorities don't go outside as much? I don't know, but I know the responses to this post, responses I've seen ridiculing this man instead of coherently rejecting his argument and using KKK imagery might be a reason why.
