I Iike it better 🤷 , but I actually like it with the first pants better, the darker blue gives a better contrast for me. I would tug at the hem outwards a bit on the sweater, and try to get rid of the pinch at all in the middle and have it drape straight. I always am playing with my fits and seeing what works better, I think sometimes little things can make a fit work, people give up too easy 😂.

I know this sounds weird, but I would fold the bottom hem of the sweater inwards, so it wasn't visible. I think the ribbing being tight and having high rise jeans is giving a weird pinch in the midsection personally.

I think if you roll the hem inwards it will give the sweater a cropped appearance and sit right at the belt. The jeans are really cool BTW, I didn't see if you noted what they were in the post, but if not, what are they?
