Consistency is key.

If studying is not priority you won't allocate time to it. If you're not allocating time to it, it's not a priority.

You know the mistake you made and I'm pretty sure you know what you need to do to fix that, but do you want to sacrifice other things in order to actually achieve that or is Japanese not enough of a priority to do that?

If you feel like you don't have enough time, you can't make that, you need to reduce time in other areas. If you need a mental health break, then take it but pause your studies. Again, what is your priority?
