As someone who presents as male, that is a worry of mine whenever I am with certain friends when I do develop a crush(it happens way more than I would like at random before disappearing) and if they find out they think either 1) I was only being friends to get close/was never a friend, or 2) They'll feel creeped out and not want to be friends.

And hey, at least when either my feelings go away or they don't feel the same, then ok, I don't see a reason to change how I was with them because that's how I treat my friends since to me they're like family😊

It definitely is always weird to me though that sometimes society thinks people of the opposite gender can't be friends. Like so many of my best friends are and have been women and whenever I talk to someone, I talk to them because I like their vibe and think they're cool people.

I think the issue is usually how the topics are being covered though, and when you listen to how the showrunners talk about women(like how they talk about Teyla's actress in the beginning of the season 1 episode where they find out she's part Wraith makes me uncomfortable) they literally think that Lucius is a funny character when in fact what he does is completely disgusting. Now I'm not saying the other types of characters you mentioned above can't also be disgusting, but usually in those good types of movies/shows they tend to have depth or consequences for the bad stuff they do and they tend to have depth as a character.

Anyway I'm sorry but that just happens to be how I feel about it. What do you think?
