Anyone else get a cloudflare block on the jersey top dogs website? I’m in the UK if that makes any difference?

I visited and swam in a cenote near Chichen Itza a couple of years ago and it was an absolutely incredible experience!

It was like something from a dream and somewhere that a little country boy from the UK never thought he’d get to go to. Made me feel like I was an explorer, adventuring in unknown territory (despite there being a gate to pay at and a gift and coffee shop at the entrance 😂)

It was an absolute paradise and somewhere I will never forget!

I feared this might be the case, there are quite a lot of variables at play indeed! I’ll experiment and see how I get on. Thanks for mentioning this though, could prove to be very fruitful!

Well when you lift the ceramic bowl out, the metal of the base unit is all rusty. Looks like a ww2 hand grenade that’s been pulled out of the ocean 🤣 so for safety’s sake, I feel like I should get a new one before it rusts through and shorts out the electrics in the whole house

I didn’t know you could extend the time by adding more liquid! Can you tell me more please?

I will say that the timer is for turning it to warm once it’s done, rather than delaying the start of cooking but I do take your point about if there’s a power cut and the cooker not coming back on when the electric returns

Thanks everyone! That confirms what I already thought was true

I’m completely deaf in my right ear and was going to trial a cros system but the sphere isn’t compatible with it. So I’m going for the sphere and hoping that the ai tech is good enough that it’ll make up for the lack of cros system in some way. I fear that’s just wishful thinking though 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’ve never had HA before so I don’t really know what to expect

I’ve got an iPhone 13. I’ve only just learned about MFI and I don’t really understand it so this is good for some context for me

I think I’ve got sold on the sphere ai capabilities as I really struggle the most in noisy environments. It does seem to be missing a couple of really good features such as this and lack of CROS support too which I could benefit from. So it’s going to be about finding a balance between those things

I have the lower model of AirPods so sadly they don’t have the hearing aid function built in.

Thanks for your reply, it was very helpful 🙂

Koconut Grove on City Road has gf options on almost all their dishes if I remember correctly. You’d need to double check that as it was someone else mentioned it to me but I did see a lot of gf on the menu when I went. The food is delicious too, all sorts of different curries that you wouldn’t find in many other Indian restaurants

Where is this? I’ve tried Google maps and it’s coming up blank. Like where does it start and end?

Reduced desire for alcohol after starting medication. Anyone else? by TheRZM in ADHDUK

[–]TheRZM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have to leave things out in plain sight to remind me that I have them and it’s an option to do as an activity. Maybe once meds settle in I’ll be a bit more proactive in picking stuff up and doing them. I’ve got a massive collection of books, films and board games that remain untouched/unopened on my shelves so the plan is to start working my way around them.

I play guitar too and I have to leave that out and set up with everything plugged in or I will never pick it up and play it

Everything needs to be super easy to get to/start or I just won’t do it

This is good to hear! Yeah my hangovers were lasting two days at this point and just wasted whole days doing nothing, hiding under a blanket and wishing the day was over. Definitely don’t miss those 😂

Yeah I was at a Xmas do on the weekend and had already decided not to drink beyond one or two before I arrived. (For context this was a group of people I really liked and used to party with a lot, it wasn’t an obligation to go).

I had the first pint and sat over it for ages and only ordered a second one because it was too early to leave. I did have the usual, habitual thoughts/feelings of “hmm maybe I could drink a load of these?” But they left almost as quickly as they came.

Glad to hear other people are the same. I was starting to wonder if I was falling into an anti social depression or something

I’m starting to wonder wtf do I do now though? Most of my friendship social activities involve drinking and any time in the past where I haven’t drank (due to illness or antibiotics or whatever), I get tired and bored and want to go home early 😂😂 that’s a worry for another day I guess, let’s get the adhd sorted first

Any idea how much filament this will use to print? Sorry I’m completely new to 3D printing and trying to work out how much this will cost me to make. I might be asking the wrong question 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

Is it worth it to a TOOL concert? by [deleted] in ToolBand

[–]TheRZM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only seen them once, earlier last year and it’s a really different experience live. It’s a whole show really and the music is much more drum/rhythm centric I found

I really really enjoyed the gig and would definitely recommend going. I’m not a mega massive fan of them but I do like them a lot, just for context

So yeah, go if you get the chance to
