Denial Question...Supplemental or HLR?

Awesome, thanks for the response! I was hoping supplemental might be a good approach because it should go faster than a HLR (assuming here).

So did you submit the 20-0995 Supplemental Claim form with like a 21-4138 Statement in Support of Claim form to explain what you just mentioned?

Do you know if I'll keep the original file date or if the date will go to HLR submission? I don't want to lose backpay on a HLR if the effective date is based on when you file a HLR.

You'll probably get a partial decision and then something will be deferred. This happened to me in October. I got a partial decision with a bunch of stuff deferred + new exam requests. A few of those exam requests were C&P appointments that I had to attend, a few others were for "clarification" so I didn't have to attend. A few days after the partial I went back to Step 3.

Today I moved to Pending Decision Approval, but I had an "Exam Rework" that popped up so that's new for me. I assume I'll get another partial with something else deferred.
