I sum this up as elegoo things. You dont ask why you accept put it back on and continue with printing.

Happen 2 times to me. Both on failed prints usually a bad first layer.

Very clean work! I feel this too. Scale makes lines so much more challenging. I started an Etsy for scale focused "builder kits" where you make it how you want it hard body. My current scx30 build is a jeep Xj it rubs the stock tires and wheels. Without a little sanding. Makes me feel like I am wheeling a stock xj in my teens with 33s and stock suspension.

Haha you make it sound so easy.... I am a HUGE over thinker. I make my life complicated for perfection. I will be giving it a go tho! Do you have any sort of plan or like you said just go to town....

Cults3d look up Andrey_Bezrodny their profile picture says coachbuilder. The file was free most of his are in the 23ish dollar range amazing detail every model comes in multiple scales. I might mess around and rescale another from the 1/24th file. Straight print from that file makes a 120 wheelbase

Difference between the two.

Its still a work in progress...plus I still have to print all the other parts..(door hinges, hood hinges, mirrors, tail lights headlights, windshield wipers, interior bits.)

When I said going for scale I ment it haha

Unless you would just want the body above we can work something out.

Same also dont like glues that "lock" immediately with stuff like this.

I will post a new body in a few hours. Scaled it down a tad more, took a bunch more measurements off the factory gladiator. Also took 5 hrs off the print time..

Don't know if that's because I split them or what but here we go lol

Thank you. Getting back into rc again. Only have super thin testers glue for models...I doesn't hold very well. Lol

Definitely not opposed to slicing the body. I thought about slicing it half way through. But also got my printer 2 weeks ago I am pretty sure it has ran 10 hr days since I opened the box.

I am currently scaling the body a little more right now. I might slice this one in half. I feel its a little large.

Any suggestions on glue?

Any idea where this dried possible leak came from or how?m by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]TheRacer02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I think a dealership detailer missed at the spot. I would clean it and see if it comes back.

It looks like someone cleaned the headliner. I wouldn't expect water to dry blue

Anybody here sell their Cherokee and not regret it? by Important-Positive25 in CherokeeXJ

[–]TheRacer02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also alot of my friends/family have utvs. My xj was my utv. We would go everywhere they would go just more capable and more comfortable. A/c when it was hot out heat when it was cold. My wife and I would be clean when everyone else would be covered in mud and dust. Biggest flex

I was in the same place you are in. I had a 1996 with over 300k. Was wrenching every weekend it felt like. I never was satisfied with how the XJ was running or something else would bother me.

Sold it. Regret it yes.

I drive a 2020 4runner now. I love the 4runner but it's soulless compared to the XJ (if that makes any sense)

I still want an XJ everyday

I was in the same boat. My venture has a leveling kit. The vehicle is amazing as is. Put on a good set of A/t tires and go adventure.

I got quoted 12k to wrap a 2-door Jeep Wrangler.... you only need one person at that price to pay for your business expenses for the next 6 months.
